Senior IT Project Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and manage complex IT projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and changes.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
- Provide regular status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 9+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince) is a MUST.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience of concurrently managing multiple projects or programs of differing size and complexity to meet business expectations and deliver results.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel).
