Responsibilities
This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
- Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, operates, and maintains electrical systems and components of electrical power distribution and generating equipment.
- Performs operations and maintenance duties to maintain power to telecommunications equipment, and maintains the facility’s physical electrical distribution system in good repair.
- Electrical work experience includes electrical installation in commercial and industrial categories.
- Electrician complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) 2008 for repairs and upgrades to existing construction, and NEC 2011 standards apply for new construction, contract specifications, and MIL Standards/Regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

OCN Requirements/Qualifications:
- Home Country valid driver’s license is preferred to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
- Must be able to obtain Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) for all places of residence for the past seven years.

Experience:
- Military postal (school or on-the-job training), USPS training, commercial cargo shipping, parcel handling/warehousing, and/or mail room distribution training are preferred.
Skills:
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must know all postal procedures and techniques used by postal personnel in operation of Army and base post offices
- Must be able to organize, control, coordinate, and supervise technical operations of postal unit.
- Must be able to instigate work simplification methods.
- Must be able to perform supervision of customs inspections conducted by custom agencies.
- Must be able to assists in inspection of command activities facilities aid personnel as prescribed by the commander
- Must be able to note discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action

VTC Technician I
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with customers to ensure equipment is operational
- Sets-up and operates VTC equipment.
- Establishes end to end secure and non-secure connectivity to support conferences.
- Establishes proper cable connection and routing to various Audio/Video and communication links.
- Adjusts sound and light levels for optimum performance of equipment and comfort of customers.
- Troubleshoots VTC and connectivity problems with local and distant end technical control facilities and help-desks to restore communication and resolve poor reception/transmission issues
- Troubleshoots equipment; configures modems and data timing and transfer rates.
- Resolves connectivity problems with technical personnel.
- Performs weekly maintenance on all associated VTC equipment.
- Operates, administers, and maintains the VTC Bridge. Required to manipulate the bridge to provide technical support for all VTC circuits attached.
- Must be able to work rotating shift schedules which provide 24 hour day/7 day week coverage.
- Working environment will be 98% indoor, 2% outdoor.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

- يقوم بإجراء صيانة أسبوعية على جميع معدات VTC المرتبطة.
- يقوم بتشغيل وإدارة وصيانة جسر VTC. مطلوب منه التعامل مع الجسر لتوفير الدعم الفني لجميع دوائر VTC المرفقة.
- يجب أن يكون قادرًا على العمل وفق جداول نوبات العمل الدورية التي توفر تغطية لمدة 24 ساعة في اليوم / 7 أيام في الأسبوع.
- بيئة العمل ستكون 98٪ داخلية و 2٪ خارجية.
- يؤدي واجبات إضافية حسب التكليف.
