Job Description
URC is seeking a Legal Senior Specialist to provide legal counsel and support to its internal departments. The role involves handling legal consulting, contract drafting, due diligence, litigation, and regulatory compliance. You will serve as a vital resource for providing legal advice, managing cases, and ensuring that all business transactions comply with applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on matters related to the company's business within and outside of Kuwait.
- Liaise with tenants, investors, third parties, regulatory bodies, semi-governmental, and governmental authorities.
- Prepare and review litigation briefs and represent the company in court proceedings when necessary.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing defense documentation, legal petitions, contracts, legal notices, and correspondence.
- Follow up on cases and legal judgments with external law firms.
- Support the preparation and execution of contracts, letters, and legal documents.
- Handle corporate legal affairs including company registration, record-keeping, and drafting General Assembly/Board Resolutions.
- Prepare power of attorney documents and ensure the attestation of the company's contracts.
- Defend the company in case of legal disputes and ensure that all operations comply with applicable laws.
- Monitor the legal status of cases and ensure proper filing and communication with external legal service providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (a professional legal qualification or certification is preferred).
- Excellent English and Arabic skills, both written and spoken.
- 5-7 years of experience in legal matters, preferably in a similar-sized company.
- Strong knowledge of corporate legal affairs, litigation processes, and contract law.
- Ability to liaise with various stakeholders, including tenants, investors, and regulatory bodies.

المؤهلات

- مهارات ممتازة في اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية (كتابة وتحدثاً).
- خبرة من 5 إلى 7 سنوات في التعامل مع القضايا القانونية، ويفضل في شركة ذات حجم مماثل.
- معرفة قوية في الشؤون القانونية للشركات، إجراءات التقاضي، وقانون العقود.
- القدرة على التنسيق مع مختلف الجهات المعنية بما في ذلك المستأجرين، المستثمرين، والهيئات التنظيمية.
