Manager - Property & Casualty Business
Job Summary:
As a strategic leader in Enaya's Property and Casualty (P&C) division, this role is responsible for designing and implementing underwriting strategies to drive retention and profitable growth of Enaya's premium portfolio. This includes leading and managing both underwriters and claims teams across retail and corporate sectors, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strong relationships with distributors. Prioritize operational excellence and uphold the highest standards in client service while overseeing risk management, data analytics, and actuarial assessments. Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, manage reinsurance planning, and oversee third-party loss adjusters, focusing on audit processes, recoveries, and fraud control.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to position Enaya as a leading provider of P&C insurance within the marketplace.
- Guide the development and execution of Enaya’s strategic underwriting directives to contribute to retention and profitable growth.
- Engage in retail and corporate initiatives to develop existing and new lines of business.
- Build strong distributor relationships and develop a market-facing team of underwriters.
- Identify new opportunities through competitive market and pricing research and coverage analysis.
- Provide direction and guidance to Enaya’s management team on growth and profitability targets.
- Develop underwriting and claims teams through motivation, counseling, skills development, and product knowledge enhancement.
- Monitor the performance of third-party loss adjusters and establish a reporting system.
- Plan and implement all regulatory reporting and compliance.
- Lead data analytics, risk management, and actuarial reviews.
- Review and plan reinsurance arrangements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline, with Engineering/Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- Insurance certification: ACII/equivalent or higher.
- 10+ years of insurance experience in underwriting and claims management of P&C insurance products in a leading insurance company.
- Strong senior-level management and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with data analytics and actuarial review processes.
- Proven track record in developing business and relationships at a national corporate level.
- Flexibility to travel as required for retail and corporate mandates.
- Local/GCC experience is a significant advantage.
