Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Quantity Surveyor to support all quantity-related aspects of construction projects, from pre-contract to project completion.
- The role involves preparing accurate quantity take-offs, monitoring material usage, supporting tenders, and ensuring cost-efficient material management.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from technical drawings and specifications.
- 2. Monitor on-site material usage and compare it with planned estimates.
- 3. Generate inventory reports showing consumed, remaining, and missing materials.
- 4. Analyze material usage variances and suggest cost-effective solutions.
- 5. Collaborate with site teams to adjust material supply plans based on actual progress.
- 6. Use AutoCAD and technical tools to extract and verify accurate quantities.
- 7. Support tender processes by preparing quantity-related forms, documentation, and cost breakdowns.
- 8. Collect and compare supplier quotations to aid in procurement decisions.
- 9. Assist in preparing tender and bidding forms, quantity summaries, and technical submissions.
- 10. Create and maintain tracking tables for material movements and consumption.
- 11. Provide updated reports to project and procurement teams for better decision-making.
- 12. Ensure optimal material availability by avoiding shortages or overstocking.
- 13. Assist in improving forecasting and planning methods to minimize waste and control costs.
- 14. Maintain organized records and documentation of all quantity-related data and calculations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.
- Knowledge of material purchasing, sourcing samples, and supplier evaluation.
- Ability to prepare and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and tender forms.
- Familiarity with tender procedures, quote comparisons, and cost analysis.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting tender submissions and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of local construction laws, contracts, and standards.
- Familiarity with ERP or project management software.

- Pay: KD1.000 - KD400.000 per month

ملخص الوظيفة:
- نحن نبحث عن مساح كميات دقيق وذو دافع لدعم جميع جوانب الكميات المتعلقة بمشاريع البناء، من مرحلة ما قبل العقد حتى إكمال المشروع.
- يتضمن الدور إعداد تقديرات دقيقة للكميات، ومراقبة استخدام المواد، ودعم العطاءات، وضمان إدارة المواد بفعالية من حيث التكلفة.
المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
- 1. إعداد فواتير الكميات التفصيلية (BOQ) من الرسومات والمواصفات الفنية.
- 2. مراقبة استخدام المواد في الموقع ومقارنتها بالتقديرات المخطط لها.
- 3. إنشاء تقارير المخزون التي توضح المواد المستهلكة والمتبقية والمفقودة.
- 4. تحليل فروق استخدام المواد واقتراح حلول فعالة من حيث التكلفة.
- 5. التعاون مع فرق الموقع لتعديل خطط توريد المواد بناءً على التقدم الفعلي.

المؤهلات والمهارات:
- دبلوم أو درجة البكالوريوس في مسح الكميات أو الهندسة المدنية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
