Project Engineer (Mechanical)
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Evaluate internal project requests from Kuwait Steel clients (SMP, RM1, RM2, LDP and Yard 2) to determine the scope of work, the project’s feasibility and resource requirements.
- Manage and develop the scope of work phase after project feasibility has been confirmed and the job request converted to a service request to external contractors.
- Develop conceptual and detailed mechanical engineering designs for requested projects, considering functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Specify the materials, equipment and components required for the project implementation, considering factors as quality, durability and compatibility with existing systems.
- Written approval of project scope of work by the internal end user before conducting the request for quotation (RFQ) phase from the market for mechanical engineering projects.
- Manage the RFQ project phase for all mechanical engineering projects as per the P&E and FM Department policies.

Heavy Vehicle Operator
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Look after general safety and housekeeping.
- The employee shall preserve with utmost care the good working condition of all company property within and outside of his area.
- Report any incident happened during each shift.
- Feeding sufficient quantity of materials each shift.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, reporting any abnormality or requirement for maintenance repair.
- Perform daily cleaning of the vehicle after use or as required.
- Ensure the heavy vehicle is safely and securely stored after use.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as Heavy Vehicle Operator in Steel Melting Plant
- Has experience operating loader, excavator, bobcat, skid loader, forklift, etc.
- Technical Diploma or equivalent
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- تقييم طلبات المشاريع الداخلية من عملاء شركة الكويت للصلب (SMP، RM1، RM2، LDP وYard 2) لتحديد نطاق العمل وإمكانية تنفيذ المشروع ومتطلبات الموارد.

- تحديد المواد والمعدات والمكونات المطلوبة لتنفيذ المشروع مع الأخذ بعين الاعتبار عوامل مثل الجودة والمتانة والتوافق مع الأنظمة الموجودة.
- الموافقة الكتابية على نطاق عمل المشروع من قبل المستخدم النهائي الداخلي قبل إجراء مرحلة طلب عرض الأسعار (RFQ) من السوق لمشاريع الهندسة الميكانيكية.
- إدارة مرحلة مشروع طلب عرض الأسعار لجميع مشاريع الهندسة الميكانيكية وفقًا لسياسات قسم الهندسة والبناء وإدارة المرافق.
