Position
Special Needs Teacher cum Supervisor
(Female applicants only)

Responsibilities

• Develop and support effective educational practices for students with SLD, PMLD, CLDD, and other behavioral and learning difficulties
• Assess students and collaborate with colleagues to tailor individualized learning strategies
• Coordinate with professionals such as speech therapists, psychologists, and social workers
• Engage and communicate closely with parents/guardians to support student progress
• Promote school policies, values, and inclusive learning culture
• Provide leadership in managing the special education section and contribute to team-building and staff development
• Handle operations independently and adapt to changing needs as the department grows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Needs Education
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience and 1 year of administrative experience in Special Education
• Proficiency in English and Arabic
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and team-building abilities
• Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
• Must be computer literate
• Female candidates only with transferable visa in Kuwait

• تقييم الطلاب والعمل مع الزملاء لتطبيق خطط فردية تناسب احتياجات كل طالب
• التنسيق مع الأخصائيين (مثل أخصائيي النطق، الأخصائيين النفسيين، والأخصائيين الاجتماعيين)
• التواصل الوثيق مع أولياء الأمور لدعم التقدّم الأكاديمي والاجتماعي للطلاب
• تعزيز سياسات المدرسة وثقافتها التعليمية الشاملة
• الإشراف على قسم التعليم الخاص والمشاركة في بناء الفريق وتنميته
• التعامل مع التحديات والاستقلالية في إدارة القسم والتكيف مع التغييرات

المتطلبات

• بكالوريوس في تعليم ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة
• خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في التدريس وسنة واحدة على الأقل في الإشراف الإداري
• إجادة اللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية
• مهارات قوية في القيادة، اتخاذ القرار، حل المشكلات، وبناء الفريق
• حس ثقافي عالٍ، مرونة، واعتمادية
• إجادة استخدام الحاسوب
• شرط أن تكون المتقدمة أنثى ولديها إقامة قابلة للتحويل بالكويت
