Instrumentation Engineer
Responsibilities
- Instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes should be designed, developed, and tested.
- Review and approve instrumentation and control system design documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
- Choose and specify instrumentation parts, such as controllers, transmitters, and sensors.
- Using CAD software, create schematics, diagrams, and layouts for control systems.
- Using software tools like PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems, develop and put into practice control plans.
- For planned initiatives, carry out cost-benefit evaluations and feasibility studies.
- Ensure that projects are finished on schedule and under budget by working together with project managers, other engineers, and clients.
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to clients and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that instrumentation and control systems are designed and installed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
- Keep abreast of new developments in the field of instrumentation and control systems as well as market trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in instrumentation and control system analysis and implementation in oil and gas sector projects
- Experience with control system programming and software tools such as PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to instrumentation and control systems, such as ISA, IEC, and NEC
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة الأجهزة أو مجال ذي صلة
- أكثر من 8 سنوات من الخبرة في تحليل وتنفيذ أنظمة الأجهزة والتحكم في مشاريع قطاع النفط والغاز
- الخبرة في برمجة أنظمة التحكم وأدوات البرمجيات مثل برمجة PLC أو برمجة DCS أو أنظمة SCADA
- معرفة الرموز والمعايير واللوائح المتعلقة بأنظمة الأجهزة والتحكم، مثل ISA وIEC وNEC
مهارات
- مهارات قوية في التحليل وحل المشكلات
- مهارات ممتازة في التواصل والتفاعل الشخصي
