• The Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) serves as the operational arm of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), overseeing refining, gas processing, and the local marketing of petroleum products. It also owns the Kuwait Aviation Fueling Company (KAFCO) and holds a 60% stake in the Kuwait Aromatics Company (KARO).

• Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) fully operates the Mina Al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah refineries, which are commercial crude oil refineries. Mina Al-Ahmadi has a production capacity of 346,000 barrels per day (bpd), while Mina Abdullah has a production capacity of 454,000 bpd, bringing the total capacity of the two refineries to 800,000 bpd.
• Gas processing is a critical component of KNPC's operations. 

• The company owns a gas processing plant at the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, which opened in 1978. Currently, the plant comprises five processing units with a production capacity of 3.1 billion cubic feet per day of gas and 332,000 barrels per day of condensates.
• The Kuwait National Petroleum Company distributes a range of petroleum products to the local market through its Subhan and Ahmadi warehouses, in addition to 61 fuel filling stations. 

• Six mobile stations have also been established to meet the needs of newly emerging areas.
• Kuwait National Petroleum Company operates five ports and facilities dedicated to the loading and export of petroleum products. 
• These ports include the North and South Piers at the Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery, the New Pier at the Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery, the Shuaiba Oil Pier, and the artificial island at the Mina Abdullah Refinery.

Requirements

1. Engineer - Rotating Equipment

   • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering↚ 

   • Minimum 10 years relevant Gulf experience as Engineer in Oil & Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical fields

2. Supervisor - Rotating Equipment

   • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

   • Minimum 8 years relevant Gulf experience in Oil & Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical fields

3. Supervisor – Rigging

   • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

   • Minimum 8 years relevant Gulf experience in Oil & Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical fields

4. Rotating Equipment Mechanic

   • 12 years of schooling

   • Minimum 8 years experience in overhauling and maintenance of rotating equipment

5. Fabricator

   • Intermediate qualification

   • Minimum 6 years relevant experience in fabrication of all types of structures and piping in Oil & Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical fields

6. Machinist

   • ITI Machinist qualification↚ 

   • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in machining in Oil & Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical fields

7. General Fitter

   • Higher Secondary qualification

   • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in mechanical maintenance in Oil & Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical fields

8. Rigger

   • SSLC qualification

   • Minimum 4 years experience in rigging operations in Oil & Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical fields

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, overhauling, and repair of rotating equipment and machinery

• Supervise teams ensuring safety and quality standards are met

• Fabricate and assemble structural and piping components

• Operate and maintain machining tools and equipment

• Conduct rigging operations and ensure proper handling of heavy loads

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for smooth project execution
