School Counselor
About the Role
- The School Counselor will play a key role in supporting students across academic achievement, career development, and personal/social growth. The successful candidate will work closely with administrators, teachers, parents, and external partners to ensure students receive the guidance and support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Deliver guidance programs aligned with school goals and student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Assist with student scheduling, placement, and record management
- Support crisis intervention and student wellbeing initiatives
- Conduct parent conferences and provide ongoing advisement
- Coordinate referrals to external agencies when needed
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the school guidance curriculum
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
- Serve as a resource for student services within the school community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, School Counseling, or related field
- Master’s degree in School Counseling is an advantage
- Preferred 1–2 years of relevant experience (new graduates are welcome to apply)
- Counseling or teaching license preferred

نبذة عن الوظيفة
- سيؤدي المرشد الطلابي دورًا محوريًا في دعم الطلاب في التحصيل الدراسي، والتطوير المهني، والنمو الشخصي والاجتماعي. وسيعمل المرشح الناجح بتعاون وثيق مع الإدارة والمعلمين وأولياء الأمور والشركاء الخارجيين لضمان حصول الطلاب على التوجيه والدعم اللازمين لتحقيق النجاح.
المسؤوليات
- تقديم الاستشارات الفردية والجماعية لدعم التطور الأكاديمي والاجتماعي والعاطفي للطلاب
- تقديم برامج إرشادية تتماشى مع أهداف المدرسة واحتياجات الطلاب
- التعاون مع المعلمين والإداريين والأسر لدعم تقدم الطلاب
- المساعدة في جدولة الطلاب وتوزيعهم وإدارة سجلاتهم
- دعم مبادرات التدخل في الأزمات ورفاهية الطلاب
- عقد اجتماعات مع أولياء الأمور وتقديم المشورة المستمرة
- تنسيق الإحالات إلى الجهات الخارجية عند الحاجة
- المساهمة في تطوير وتقديم منهج التوجيه المدرسي
- المشاركة في التطوير المهني والمبادرات على مستوى المدرسة
- تقديم الدعم لخدمات الطلاب داخل المجتمع المدرسي
المؤهلات
- درجة البكالوريوس في علم النفس، أو الخدمة الاجتماعية، أو الإرشاد المدرسي، أو مجال ذي صلة
- الحصول على درجة الماجستير في الإرشاد المدرسي يُعد ميزة إضافية
- يفضل وجود خبرة ذات صلة لمدة سنة إلى سنتين (نرحب بطلبات الخريجين الجدد).
- يفضل الحصول على رخصة إرشاد أو تدريس
