Portfolio Manager – Kuwait Equities
NBK Capital is recruiting for a “Portfolio Manager-Kuwait Equities” role for its MENA Asset Management team.
Role Summary:
Maintain in-depth research coverage of all listed stocks on Boursa Kuwait individually and independently. Co-manage Kuwait-Focused equity funds and portfolios under the supervision of the “Vice President-Local Equities Portfolio Management and Research” to ensure the achievement of the key investment objectives of assigned mandates. Directly involved in addressing internal from management and external requests related to servicing key individual and institutional clients. Play an active role in supporting fund raising efforts. Have an accessible network of sell-side firms, management teams, and other agencies in assigned sectors.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Fluent in both Arabic and English.
Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting. CFA/FRM is a big plus.
Minimum 6 years of hands-on and direct experience in public equities analysis either on the buy- or sell-side with top tier firm. Strong relevant knowledge of at least 2 large sectors in Kuwait. Kuwait Public Equities Research or Portfolio Management experience is a must.
Strong Analytical & Equity Modeling experience.
Excellent numerical skills including investment analysis, and securities screening.
Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to professionally interact with high profile executives and institutional clients.
