Financial Reporting & Budgeting Manager
About the job
The primary responsibilities include validating, verifying, and consolidating annual operating budgets to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. It plays a pivotal role in continuous cost optimization initiatives, monthly controlling reports, and the maintenance and development of the company's financial model and to purview Internal controls, budget change request processes, and cash flow monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement advanced budget models for various departments and the entire organization.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including assessing revenues, expenditures, and cash management.
Prepare and present annual budgets to senior executives and stakeholders.
Anticipate and forecast future budget needs, proactively addressing potential financial challenges and proposing solutions.
Identify areas for cost-saving measures that optimize profitability without compromising quality.
Ensure that the organization's budget is compliant with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Ensure that all departments adhere to the budgeting process schedule.
Develop and implement innovative budgeting policies and procedures that enhance financial control and transparency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Financial controller in a sizable organization with a substantial annual turnover, with over 7 years of experience.
Profound knowledge of Management Accounting and a strong track record in the Retail industry.
Extensive experience with ERP systems, with SAP expertise as a prerequisite.
Exceptional skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics.
Outstanding report writing, analytical, presentation, coaching, and communication skills.
Unwavering integrity, dependability, a strong sense of urgency, and a results-oriented mindset.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
MBA is highly preferred.
Professional certifications like CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or equivalent.
