About the job
Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy that aligns with the overall business goals and objectives of the company.
Assortment Planning: Determine which products or SKUs should be included in the category, considering customer preferences, market trends, and sales data. and run rationalization wave each quarter. And ensure implementation of merchandise planning module.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms, pricing, and promotions to ensure the category's success.
Availability: Daily monitoring of items availability to reach the maximum availability and deal with any challenges accordingly.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels within the category to avoid overstock or stockouts and optimize inventory turnover.
Pricing Strategy: Set pricing strategies for products within the category, including regular pricing, discounts, and promotions, to maximize sales and profitability.
Merchandising and Display: Collaborate with Marketplace to create appealing online displays that attract customers and boost sales.
Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats in the category.
Performance Tracking: Monitor the category's performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales, margin, inventory turnover, and market share.
Promotions and Marketing: Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to drive sales and increase the category's visibility.
Media Partnership: Collaborate with media partnership team to drive supplier investment and ensure the proper conversion.
Monthly Closing: Prepare monthly closing document with all related analysis and KPIs to be reviewed with CCO.
