Details

We are seeking a developer to work on two exciting e-commerce platforms—

Cover Crop Exchange and Hybrid85. This role will involve developing, optimizing, and maintaining web applications to improve user experience and platform performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Web Development: Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, Tailwind CSS, StimulusJS, and Vite.

• User Experience Enhancement: Improve user experience and optimize performance across both platforms.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to implement new features and functionalities.

• Code Management: Code, debug, and conduct code reviews.

• Backend Integration: Work with a shared backend admin/API application and separate client applications for each website.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in Ruby on Rails development.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, StimulusJS, and Vite.

• E-Commerce Experience: Experience with e-commerce platforms and double-sided marketplaces is a plus.

• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Remote Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely.

Additional Information

• Hours: Starting with approximately 10 hours per week, with potential to increase based on performance.

• Compensation: Rate negotiable based on experience.

• Pair Programming: A pair programming exercise will be required as part of the selection process.

• No AI Usage: Those using AI in the interview process will be disqualified.
