Marine Workshop Manager
Experience: Ideally, the candidate should have prior experience managing a marine workshop, preferably with boats and yachts, for at least 5 years.
Education: A degree in marine engineering or a related field may be preferred, but equivalent experience and training may also be considered.
Technical Skills: The candidate should possess a strong technical background in boat and yacht repair and maintenance, including knowledge of engines, electrical systems, and plumbing.
Management Skills: The candidate should have experience managing a team of technicians and other staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Communication Skills: The candidate should possess strong communication skills, including good negotiation skills, as they will be required to interact with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. Good interaction skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to resolve conflicts, are also highly desirable.
Organizational Skills: The candidate should have excellent organizational skills, as they will be responsible for managing schedules, inventory, and other logistical aspects of the workshop.
Language Skills: Fluency in English is a must, and knowledge of Arabic may also be desirable.
Legal Requirements: The candidate should be legally authorized to work in Kuwait and possess any necessary licenses or certifications required to operate a marine workshop.
Nationality: Preference may be given to Kuwaiti citizens.
