About the job
Operations
Develop the Operation annual budget in liaison with the Showroom Manager and ensure all employees are working within the assigned budget by setting the required targets and responsibilities.
Develop and ensure implementation of the operation’s policies & procedures and follow up their implementation in order to achieve the function‘s objectives.
Prepare and ensure the implementation of overall plan, processes, procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective, timely and efficient methods for meeting the requirements and ensure that all showroom activities of the Kitchens, Home Appliances Department are in-line with the set plans & processes.
Assist in defining short-term and long-terms strategies for the Showroom and overall Retail Operations in line with AAW strategy
Assist in the development of the annual business plan for AAW from a sales perspective including sales goals and objectives
Ensure that all staff adhere to relevant policies and procedures pertaining to the Showroom Operations
Enhance sales through identification and analysis of practices and initiatives being implemented by competitors
Enhance sales through identification and analysis of trends such as footfall, conversion rates, bill value, and individual SKU sales. etc. for the Showroom
Ensure achievement of sales targets which have been set for the Showroom; Cascade Showroom targets to the floors / departments and drive team to meet these targets
Continually monitor achievement of sales targets and take corrective measures where required; analyze operating and financial statement for profitability ratios
Ensure optimal inventory management at the Showroom by conducting periodic merchandise availability audits and giving feedback to merchandising team in this regard
Main high levels of customer service, ensure effective cash controls and availability of stock and supplies at the Showroom
Assist in ensuring smooth movement of stocks through effective management of inbound and outbound logistics
Ensure minimization of shrinkage levels at the Showroom and ensure minimization of costs by optimal authorization of funds for operational expenses like stationery, conveyance, phone, staff welfare, etc.
Train personnel and sensitize employees on stock loss due to shoplifting, spoilage, etc.
Foster the highest standards of customer service excellence at the Showroom; Build a connect with the customers and understand customer needs.
Ensure adherence to mystery shopping standards in the department and constantly endeavor to improve the mystery shopping score
implement process improvements at Showroom as per feedback solicited from customers and best practices
Drive improvisations in current service levels by tracking customer satisfaction metrics at the Showroom
Ensure process compliance at the Showroom to guidelines laid down in terms of VM, mystery shopping, etc.
Ensure adherence to set standards by conducting periodic audits and taking corrective actions
Maintain the look of the Showroom in consultation with the Visual Merchandiser; Ensure sequential linkage for layout of Showroom in consultation with Visual Merchandiser
Update the Merchandising team of the latest trends in the market on price and product, of competitors as well as customer demand
Oversee Showroom security and develops system to control pilferage, shoplifting, merchandise damage reduce stock loss and maintaining cost etc.
Prepare all reports as required by the Direct Manager.
Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
