Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in field instrumentation, preferably in water and wastewater projects

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Instrumentation / I&C Engineer to support design, implementation, and commissioning of instrumentation systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of process instrumentation, control system integration, and field installation practices, with proven experience in technical documentation and project support.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise:

• Field Experience: Minimum 5 years in field instrumentation, preferably within water and wastewater projects
• Process Instrumentation Knowledge: Strong understanding of process instrumentation (flow, pressure, level, temperature, analytical) and integration into control systems
• Instrumentation Selection: Analyze process requirements and select appropriate instrumentation solutions based on technical and commercial criteria
• P&ID and Documentation Skills: Proficient in drafting and interpreting P&ID diagrams, instrumentation layouts, and control philosophies
• Product Selection and Vendor Evaluation: Prepare datasheets, technical submittals, and perform vendor evaluations
• Control Panels and Field Installation: Knowledge of control panel design, instrument wiring, and field installation practices
• Field Wiring and Loop Checks: Verify signal integrity, troubleshoot wiring issues, and support commissioning activities
• Documentation and Calibration: Prepare instrument indexes, loop diagrams, and calibration procedures
• Commissioning and Troubleshooting: Experience in site commissioning, troubleshooting, and functional testing of instrumentation (added advantage)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related engineering field
• Familiarity with international standards and specifications
• Strong communication and documentation skills

نبحث عن مهندس أدوات وتحكم ميداني لدعم التصميم والتنفيذ وتشغيل أنظمة الأدوات. يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدم معرفة قوية بأجهزة القياس، تكامل أنظمة التحكم، وممارسات التركيب الميداني، مع خبرة مثبتة في الوثائق الفنية ودعم المشاريع.

المسؤوليات والخبرة المطلوبة:

• اختيار الأجهزة: تحليل متطلبات العمليات واختيار الحلول المناسبة من الناحية الفنية والتجارية
• مهارات الرسم والوثائق: إجادة إعداد وتفسير مخططات P&ID، تخطيطات الأجهزة، وفلسفة التحكم
• تقييم المنتجات والموردين: إعداد مواصفات فنية، تقديم المستندات التقنية، وإجراء تقييمات للموردين
• لوحات التحكم والتركيب الميداني: معرفة تصميم لوحات التحكم، توصيل الأجهزة، والممارسات الميدانية
• الأسلاك والفحص: التحقق من سلامة الإشارات، حل مشاكل التوصيلات، ودعم أنشطة التشغيل
• التوثيق والمعايرة: إعداد فهارس الأجهزة، مخططات الحلقات، وإجراءات المعايرة
• التشغيل والمعايرة: خبرة في التشغيل الميداني، حل المشاكل، واختبارات الأداء للأجهزة (ميزة إضافية)

المؤهلات المفضلة:

• درجة / دبلوم في أدوات القياس، الكهرباء، أو مجال هندسي ذي صلة
• معرفة بالمعايير والمواصفات الدولية
• مهارات تواصل وتوثيق قوية
