The Planning Engineer role supports materials planning, inventory control, master scheduling and operations planning for Kirby International in Kuwait. The position works with planning databases, engineering plans, production plans, shipment planning, purchasing follow-up and manufacturing coordination.

Key Responsibilities | المسؤوليات الرئيسية
- Maintain the master planning database for projects by collecting updated information from multiple projects.
- Prepare and maintain engineering, production and shipment plans.
- Raise timely orders for job-specific items using the master planning database.
- Maintain suitable inventory levels based on current stock, historical usage, future usage and forecast demand.
- Coordinate with purchasing teams to support timely delivery of raw materials, accessories and job-specific items to manufacturing.
- Analyze backlog and prepare management reports when required.
- Use knowledge of steel raw materials such as HR plates and coils, GI coils, PPGL and PPGI.

Candidate Requirements | متطلبات المرشح
- Two to three years of material planning experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of scheduling and materials requirement planning techniques.
- Experience using ERP systems, especially material management modules; SAP experience or equivalent is preferred.
- Analytical ability to understand patterns and changing daily requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering.
- Material planning experience in PEB or structural steel industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel and Access Database or equivalent software.
- Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to build working relationships across operations teams.
