Finishing Area Assistant

Job Summary

The Finishing Area Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations from the cooling bed entry to the unloading area. The role involves handling product inspection, sample collection for QA testing, manual bundling, bar counting, defect detection, and equipment area cleanliness. You’ll work closely with operations staff to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Follow ISO-9001, ISO-14001, and OHSAS 18001 Integrated Management System standards.
Operate and maintain Finishing End Area equipment (cold shears, roller tables, bundling units, etc.) per operation manuals.
Monitor bar flow to prevent issues like misalignment, overlaps, short bars, or bent bars.
Inspect bundles for short bars, oil stains, and other defects before overhead crane lifting.
Conduct in-process rebar testing and inspection per documented procedures.
Coordinate with operators to ensure accurate cutting lengths and bar quality.
Maintain constant supply of gas cutting materials and ensure spare gas cylinders are available.
Clear and dispose of crop deposits and bar ends from scrap buckets.
Replenish wire coils in bundling machines and assist with coil changes.
Manually bundle short or rejected bars and prepare them for weighing and tagging.
Ensure contaminated or defective bars do not enter prime bundles.
Perform bar quantity corrections and maintain bundle compliance.
Continuously clean and clear the Finishing End area of scattered or defective materials.
Assist in size/section changes, pass cleaning, guide changes, and related duties.
Support in welding, gas cutting, and other delegated mechanical tasks.

Education

Minimum high school graduate.
Vocational or technical certification preferred.

Skills

Knowledge of bar mill operations.
Basic welding and gas cutting skills (preferred).
Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).

Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in steel or similar industrial settings.

ملخص الوظيفة

يلعب مساعد منطقة التشطيب دورًا رئيسيًا في ضمان سير العمل بسلاسة من دخول القضبان إلى طاولة الرفع حتى منطقة التفريغ. يشمل العمل فحص المنتج، أخذ العينات لاختبارات الجودة، الربط اليدوي، عدّ القضبان، كشف العيوب، وتنظيف منطقة المعدات.

المسؤوليات

الالتزام بأنظمة الإدارة المتكاملة ISO-9001، ISO-14001، و OHSAS 18001.
تشغيل وصيانة معدات منطقة التشطيب (ماكينات القص الباردة، الطاولات الدوارة، أجهزة الربط، وغيرها).
مراقبة سير القضبان لتجنب المشكلات مثل الاعوجاج، القضبان القصيرة، التداخل، إلخ.
فحص الحزم قبل رفعها للتأكد من خلوها من العيوب والبقع الزيتية أو القضبان القصيرة.
إجراء اختبارات الجودة أثناء العملية حسب الإجراءات المعتمدة.
التنسيق مع المشغلين لضمان دقة الأطوال وجودة القضبان.
التأكد من توفر المواد اللازمة للقطع بالغاز والأسطوانات الاحتياطية باستمرار.
التخلص من بقايا القضبان والنفايات في الحاويات المخصصة.
إعادة تعبئة أسلاك الربط في آلات الربط والمساعدة في استبدالها.
ربط القضبان القصيرة يدويًا وتحديد وزنها ووضع العلامات قبل نهاية المناوبة.
التأكد من عدم دخول القضبان المعيبة أو الملوثة إلى الحزم الأساسية.
تصحيح عدد القضبان يدويًا في الحزم غير المتوافقة.
الحفاظ على نظافة المنطقة بالكامل وإزالة أي نفايات معدنية أو مخلفات.
المساعدة في تغيير الأحجام والمقاطع وتنظيف الأدلة وتنفيذ المهام الميكانيكية البسيطة.
المساعدة في أعمال اللحام والقطع حسب توجيه المشرف.

المؤهلات التعليمية

شهادة الثانوية العامة كحد أدنى.
يفضل الحصول على شهادة مهنية أو تدريب فني.

المهارات

معرفة بعمليات مصانع القضبان الحديدية.
مهارات أساسية في اللحام والقطع بالغاز (ميزة إضافية).
القدرة على التواصل باللغة الإنجليزية (كتابة وتحدثًا).

الخبرة

خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في نفس المجال أو في بيئة صناعية مشابهة.
