Job Description
As an Assistant Professor in Systems Engineering, you will teach a variety of undergraduate courses while contributing to the university's research initiatives. You will be involved in student advising, curriculum development, and enhancing research opportunities for undergraduate students. Knowledge of ABET accreditation and experience with program assessments will be beneficial.
Job Title: Assistant Professor - Systems Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in Systems Engineering.
Foster research opportunities for undergraduate students.
Advise and mentor students in academic and career development.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the curriculum.
Participate in service to the College and University.
Engage in scholarly research and publication.
Contribute to the development and assessment of programs for ABET accreditation.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
Expertise in Systems Simulation, Operations Research, and Facility Planning.
Industrial experience is a plus.
