This position reports to
Hub Division Controller, IAEN, IMEA
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead continuous improvements in the transportation function as well as the management of key performance indicators to improve performance. Each day, you will be responsible for managing transportation operations, including internal teams and external providers. You will also showcase your expertise by:
- Overseeing import/export administrative activities and ensuring compliance with ABB rules and external regulations in collaboration with local and country Trade Compliance Officers.
- Responsible for local import/export operations. Supervising performance of customs brokers.
- Ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.
- Supporting the Tendering Department and Operations Department (Project Manager) in compliance with company guidelines.
