Details
As an Engineer in Service Provisioning, you will play a critical role in activating and managing services for both B2C and B2B customers in the system. Your responsibilities will include activating services, maintaining customer network services, supporting engineering and voice teams during installation, updating network monitoring tools, and troubleshooting customer issues. You will work closely with various teams to ensure customer requests are successfully executed and services are provided efficiently.
Key Accountabilities and Activities
Execute all received orders in the system regarding service activation, deactivation, upgrades, and downgrades.
Provision customer network services on core equipment.
Support the Engineering/Voice team during installations to meet customer requirements.
Maintain and update IP plans for B2B customers.
Add, modify, or delete Centrex phones/ATA through FT voice call manager.
Provide Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx accounts to customers.
Notify customers of any changes to their services via email.
Register and renew domains with CITRA, and update DNS records for hosted domains.
Maintain and operate web hosting services, providing customers with portal access to update website content.
Troubleshoot escalated cases from B2B support and manage customer requests for DNS, web hosting, and email services.
Perform quarterly maintenance on all POPs and troubleshoot system issues with vendors.
Manage Access Control and Camera systems for all POPs.
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
CCNA (Mandatory).
CCNP (Mandatory).
Previous experience in a similar role within a telecommunications environment is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
