Continuous Casting Machine/Caster Operator
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs Tundish Preheating including operation of Preheater, Refractory Inspection, Nozzle cleaning and CNC cylinder checking.
- Performs dummy bar preparation, centering and installation of quick sealing device.
- Conducts mold packing, setting all controls to ready cast position, mold inspection and oil flow test.
- Carries out tundish preparation for casting such as nozzle cleaning, tundish centering, nozzle bottom plugging and nozzle filling.
- Performs ladle receiving activities like slide gate cylinder fixing/removal, ladle cover placing/removal, ladle shroud cleaning and re-attachment and ladle teeming throughout the casting period.
- Performs mold tendering including slag fishing, mold level checking, wetting nozzle cleaning, nozzle changing, metal splashes cleaning and monitor abnormal oscillation.
- Carries out manual cutting of billets during cutting torch failures, emergency billet evacuation during breakout and early disconnection.
Mechanical Technician - Steel Melting Plant
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Carrying out maintenance activities (preventive and corrective maintenance) as per SAP work order and giving back proper feedback.
- Inspection of responsible/allocated area equipment, reporting any abnormality to the higher level and recording it in the logbook and checklists in SAP.
- Correcting the identified abnormalities under the supervision of the superior.
- Attending breakdowns, minimizing delays and unplanned shutdowns.
- Implementing & following the instructions from the management.
- Coordinating with other departments and working as a team.
- Carrying out daily shift activities and following through with the problems.
- Proper maintenance of equipment/facilities and carrying out repair works and keeping spares ready.
- Studying the system, proper tools handling, safekeeping and working effectively to reduce the maintenance cost.
Electronic Specialist
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electronic systems, automation, PLC programming, and control theory.
- Experience working with measurement instruments, sensors, and control systems commonly used in the steel industry.
Skills:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic equipment and systems
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, HMI design, and data analysis tools
- Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Auto Electrician - Heavy Equipment
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Electrical Maintenance
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in steel production processes.
- Repair and Installation
- Repair or replace defective electrical components, such as motors, switches, relays, and control panels.
- Install new electrical equipment, ensuring proper wiring, connections, and adherence to safety standards.
- Preventive Maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using various diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- HSE & Quality Responsibilities
- Complying with Kuwait Steel policies, HSE Management System, and Integrated Management System (ISO9001/14001/45001)
- Executing Health, Safety, and Environment plans in the workplace according to HSE standards, company and country rules, and legal regulations
- Achieving and maintaining company HS&E targets, and objectives and preserving and protecting Kuwait Steel lives

Junior Legal Counsel
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Provide proactive, solutions focused, legally sound advice and support in a timely fashion
- Take the legal lead role in reviewing, drafting, negotiating and/or amending broad spectrum of commercial contracts
- Advise the Company on its rights and responsibility under the applicable laws of Kuwait
- Monitor trends in the local regulation that may affect the operation of the business
- Provide dispute resolution advice counsel, handle and assume active involvement

الواجبات والمسؤوليات
- يقوم بإجراء التسخين المسبق لتونديش بما في ذلك تشغيل التسخين المسبق وفحص المواد المقاومة للحرارة وتنظيف الفوهة وفحص أسطوانة CNC.
- يقوم بإعداد شريط الدمية وتمركزه وتركيب جهاز الختم السريع.
- يقوم بتعبئة القالب، وضبط جميع عناصر التحكم على وضع الصب الجاهز، وفحص القالب واختبار تدفق الزيت.
- يقوم بإعداد التونديش للصب مثل تنظيف الفوهة، وتمركز التونديش، وسد الجزء السفلي من الفوهة وملء الفوهة.

خبرة:
- - خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في الأنظمة الإلكترونية والأتمتة وبرمجة PLC ونظرية التحكم.
- خبرة في العمل مع أدوات القياس وأجهزة الاستشعار وأنظمة التحكم المستخدمة عادة في صناعة الصلب.
مهارات:
- الكفاءة في استكشاف أخطاء المعدات والأنظمة الإلكترونية وإصلاحها
