Senior Officer - Information Technology - KNSRC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud services (preferably Azure).
• Proficient in English and Arabic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, CompTIA, Cisco, or equivalent.
• Experience working in research, academic, or technology-focused organizations.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and scripting is an advantage.

Key Accountabilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT hardware.
• Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and enterprise software applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems and platforms.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID/Azure AD).
• Perform system updates, patches, backups, and recovery operations.
• Administer and support cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud services as required).
• Implement and maintain IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, access control, and data protection.
• Monitor systems for security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
• Support compliance with institutional IT policies, data protection, and information security standards.

المؤهلات والخبرة:

• درجة البكالوريوس في تكنولوجيا المعلومات أو علوم الحاسوب أو مجال ذي صلة.
• خبرة لا تقل عن 4 سنوات في إدارة تكنولوجيا المعلومات أو دور مماثل.
• معرفة قوية بأجهزة الكمبيوتر وأنظمة التشغيل وأساسيات الشبكات.
• خبرة في إدارة Microsoft 365 والخدمات السحابية (ويفضل Azure).
• يجيد اللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.

المؤهلات المفضلة:

• الشهادات المهنية مثل مايكروسوفت، أزور، كومبتيا، سيسكو، أو ما يعادلها.
• خبرة في العمل في مؤسسات بحثية أو أكاديمية أو تركز على التكنولوجيا.
• يُعدّ الإلمام بأنظمة لينكس وكتابة البرامج النصية ميزة إضافية.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• تثبيت وتكوين وصيانة واستكشاف أعطال أجهزة تكنولوجيا المعلومات.
• إدارة شبكات LAN/WAN، وشبكات Wi-Fi، وجدران الحماية، والمحولات، وأجهزة التوجيه.
• تثبيت وتكوين وصيانة أنظمة التشغيل (Windows و macOS و Linux) وتطبيقات برامج المؤسسات.
• إدارة حسابات المستخدمين والأذونات وحقوق الوصول عبر الأنظمة والمنصات.
