Job Title: Estimation Engineer
Job Description:
The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing cost calculations to determine the expenses a company will incur to complete a project or provide products and services to clients. The role involves researching the costs of materials, transport, labor, and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scrutiny of tender documents.
- Evaluating tender documents, drawings, and schedules.
- Sending inquiries to suppliers/manufacturers.
- Researching the costs of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors.
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame.
- Conducting comparison studies based on suppliers’ quotations.
- Negotiating with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of products.
- Pricing for mechanical, electrical, instrument, civil items or equipment, or work.
- Assessing risk levels associated with projects.
- Preparing and submitting quotations and detailed costs for work to be done.
- Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting buyers’ activities.
- Monitoring costs throughout a project to ensure they stay within the estimated budget.
Knowledge:
- Tender estimation and requirements.
- Pricing structures and negotiation.
- General technical knowledge about mechanical tenders.
- Familiarity with estimation software.
Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure to meet goals, budgets, and deadlines.
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Teamwork and multitasking abilities.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be fluent in Arabic and English (reading and writing).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience.

الوصف الوظيفي:
مسؤولية مهندس التقدير هي إعداد حسابات التكاليف لتحديد التكلفة التي ستتحملها الشركة لإكمال مشروع أو تقديم منتجات وخدمات لعملائها. يتم ذلك من خلال البحث عن تكاليف المواد والنقل والعمالة والمعدات.
المهام والمسؤوليات:
- دراسة وثائق المناقصات بدقة.
- تقييم وثائق المناقصات والرسومات والجداول الزمنية.
- إرسال استفسارات للموردين/المصنعين.
- البحث عن تكاليف المواد والنقل والعمالة والمعدات.
- إنشاء والحفاظ على العلاقات مع المقاولين والموردين.
- الحصول على عروض أسعار من الموردين والمقاولين ضمن الإطار الزمني المحدد.
- إجراء دراسات مقارنة بناءً على عروض الموردين.
- التفاوض مع الموردين بشأن الجوانب الفنية والتجارية للمنتج.
- تسعير العناصر أو المعدات أو العمل الميكانيكي / الكهربائي / الآلات / المدني.
- تقييم مستويات المخاطر المرتبطة بالمشروع.
- إعداد وتقديم العروض وتفاصيل التكاليف للعمل المطلوب.
- المساعدة في تقديم العطاءات لعقود جديدة ودعم أنشطة المشترين.
- مراقبة التكاليف في مختلف مراحل المشروع لضمان الالتزام بالتكاليف المقدرة.
المعرفة:
- تقدير المناقصات ومتطلباتها.
- هيكل التسعير والتفاوض.
- معرفة عامة بالتقنيات المتعلقة بالمناقصات الميكانيكية.
- معرفة ببرامج التقدير.
المهارات:
- القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط لتحقيق الأهداف والميزانيات والمواعيد النهائية.
- مهارات تحليلية ودقة في التفاصيل.
- مهارات تواصل وإدارة الوقت ممتازة.
- القدرة على العمل ضمن فريق ومهارات متعددة المهام.
المؤهلات:
- دبلوم أو بكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية.
- إتقان اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية (قراءة وكتابة).
- خبرة لا تقل عن 4 سنوات.
