Job Title: Infrastructure Manager

Department: IT & Data

Location: Kuwait

Reports to: IT & Data Manager

Job Purpose:

The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring it supports business operations efficiently and securely. The role includes managing hardware, software, networks, and data centers, ensuring all systems meet business needs for performance, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Strategy & Planning:
  Develop and implement the IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization’s goals.
  Identify emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to the company’s needs.
  Ensure infrastructure scalability and flexibility to support growth and new business initiatives.

• System & Network Management:
  Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, networks, and storage systems.
  Manage the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of IT hardware, software, and network systems.
  Ensure optimal performance of all IT systems and networks, minimizing downtime and ensuring availability.

• Security & Compliance:
  Implement robust security measures to protect infrastructure from threats such as cyber-attacks and data breaches.
  Ensure that infrastructure complies with relevant data protection regulations and internal security policies.
  Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify risks and implement mitigations.

• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:
  Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal disruption to business operations in case of IT failures.
  Implement backup and restore procedures for critical data and systems.
  Test business continuity plans and improve them based on lessons learned from tests or incidents.

• Team Management & Leadership:
  Lead and mentor the IT infrastructure team, ensuring continuous development of team members.
  Assign tasks, set performance goals, and evaluate the performance of team members.
  Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes problem-solving and innovative thinking.

• Vendor Management:
  Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure that services meet organizational requirements.
  Negotiate contracts and agreements with IT vendors to obtain the best possible terms and pricing.

• Budget & Resource Management:
  Manage the budget for IT infrastructure, ensuring that expenses are controlled and align with organizational financial goals.
  Oversee procurement of infrastructure-related hardware and software, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compatibility.

• Collaboration with Other Teams:
  Work closely with the IT & Data Manager, application teams, and other business units to ensure the IT infrastructure meets business requirements.
  Provide technical advice to internal stakeholders and participate in cross-departmental projects as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of network, server, and storage technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Project management experience with a proven track record of leading infrastructure projects.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL processes.

الغرض من الوظيفة:

مدير البنية التحتية مسؤول عن الإشراف على تصميم وتنفيذ وصيانة بنية الشركة التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات، وضمان دعمها لعمليات الأعمال بكفاءة وأمان. تتضمن الوظيفة إدارة الأجهزة والبرامج والشبكات ومراكز البيانات، وضمان تلبية جميع الأنظمة لاحتياجات الأعمال من حيث الأداء والتوفر والأمان.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• استراتيجية وتخطيط البنية التحتية:
  تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجية بنية تكنولوجيا المعلومات بما يتماشى مع أهداف المنظمة.
  تحديد التقنيات الناشئة وتقييم قابليتها للاستخدام وفقًا لاحتياجات الشركة.
  ضمان قابلية توسعة ومرونة البنية التحتية لدعم النمو والمبادرات التجارية الجديدة.

• إدارة الأنظمة والشبكات:
  الإشراف على تكوين وصيانة ومراقبة الخوادم والشبكات وأنظمة التخزين.
  إدارة تثبيت وصيانة وترقية أجهزة وبرامج وأنظمة الشبكات.
  ضمان الأداء الأمثل لجميع أنظمة وشبكات تكنولوجيا المعلومات، وتقليل وقت التعطل وضمان التوفر.

• الأمان والامتثال:
  تنفيذ تدابير أمان قوية لحماية البنية التحتية من التهديدات مثل الهجمات الإلكترونية وانتهاكات البيانات.
  ضمان امتثال البنية التحتية للأنظمة ذات الصلة بحماية البيانات وسياسات الأمان الداخلية.
  إجراء تدقيقات أمان دورية وتقييمات الثغرات لتحديد المخاطر وتنفيذ تدابير التخفيف.

• التعافي من الكوارث واستمرارية الأعمال:
  تطوير وصيانة خطط التعافي من الكوارث لضمان الحد الأدنى من التعطيل لعمليات الأعمال في حالة حدوث فشل في تكنولوجيا المعلومات.
  تنفيذ إجراءات النسخ الاحتياطي والاستعادة للبيانات والأنظمة الحرجة.
  اختبار خطط استمرارية الأعمال وتحسينها بناءً على الدروس المستفادة من الاختبارات أو الحوادث.

• إدارة الفريق والقيادة:
  قيادة وتوجيه فريق بنية تكنولوجيا المعلومات، وضمان التنمية المستمرة لأعضاء الفريق.
  تعيين المهام، وتحديد أهداف الأداء، وتقييم أداء أعضاء الفريق.
  تعزيز بيئة عمل تعاونية تشجع على حل المشكلات والتفكير الابتكاري.

• إدارة الموردين:
  إدارة العلاقات مع الموردين الخارجيين ومقدمي الخدمات لضمان تلبية الخدمات لمتطلبات المنظمة.
  التفاوض على العقود والاتفاقيات مع الموردين للحصول على أفضل الشروط والأسعار الممكنة.

• إدارة الميزانية والموارد:
  إدارة ميزانية بنية تكنولوجيا المعلومات، وضمان السيطرة على النفقات بما يتماشى مع الأهداف المالية للمنظمة.
  الإشراف على شراء الأجهزة والبرامج المتعلقة بالبنية التحتية، وضمان الفعالية من حيث التكلفة والتوافق.

• التعاون مع الفرق الأخرى:
  العمل عن كثب مع مدير تكنولوجيا المعلومات والبيانات، وفرق التطبيقات، ووحدات الأعمال الأخرى لضمان تلبية بنية تكنولوجيا المعلومات لمتطلبات الأعمال.
  تقديم المشورة الفنية للمساهمين الداخليين والمشاركة في المشاريع عبر الأقسام عند الحاجة.

المؤهلات والخبرة:

• درجة البكالوريوس في تكنولوجيا المعلومات أو علوم الكمبيوتر أو مجال ذي صلة.
• خبرة لا تقل عن 5-7 سنوات في إدارة بنية تكنولوجيا المعلومات أو في دور مشابه.
• فهم قوي لتقنيات الشبكات والخوادم والتخزين.
• خبرة مع تقنيات الافتراضية (مثل VMware، Hyper-V).
• معرفة قوية بمبادئ الأمن السيبراني وأفضل الممارسات.
• الإلمام بمنصات الحوسبة السحابية مثل AWS أو Azure.
• خبرة في إدارة المشاريع مع سجل مثبت في قيادة مشاريع البنية التحتية.

المهارات:

• مهارات قيادية وإدارة فرق قوية.
• مهارات ممتازة في حل المشكلات واتخاذ القرارات.
