Full Job Description:
Aafaq is one of Kuwait's leading book companies, established in 2008. We are now a distributor, retailer, and publisher. Our company is growing, and we are looking for a new team member to join our Accounting Department. The candidate will be required to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. You will analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses for Aafaq. The role also involves reporting the organization's finances to management and offering suggestions about resource utilization and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Secure financial information by completing database backups.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Provide technical support and advice on management.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures.
- Prepare financial statements and produce budgets according to schedule.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Communicate with the Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise.
- Perform bookkeeping by checking accounting records for accuracy, tracking invoices and payments, and maintaining a system for organizing company documents.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and administration skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
- Understanding of accounting and reporting standards.
- Fresh graduates will be considered as well.

- تأمين المعلومات المالية من خلال إكمال النسخ الاحتياطية للبيانات.
- التحقق والتخصيص والنشر والمصالحة للمعاملات.
- إنتاج تقارير محاسبية خالية من الأخطاء وتقديم نتائجها.
- تحليل المعلومات المالية وتلخيص الحالة المالية.
- تقديم الدعم الفني والنصائح للإدارة.
- مراجعة وتقديم توصيات بشأن التعديلات على أنظمة المحاسبة وإجراءات المحاسبة المعتمدة بشكل عام.
- إعداد البيانات المالية وإنتاج الميزانية وفقًا للجدول الزمني.
- دعم عمليات الإغلاق في نهاية الشهر ونهاية السنة.
- التواصل مع المدير و/أو المدير حول حالة العمل والمشكلات التي تظهر.
- القيام بمسك الدفاتر من خلال التحقق من دقة السجلات المحاسبية، تتبع الفواتير والمدفوعات، والحفاظ على نظام لتنظيم مستندات الشركة.

- معرفة شاملة بالإجراءات والمبادئ المحاسبية الأساسية.
- كفاءة في استخدام برامج المحاسبة ومهارات الإدارة.
- دقة واهتمام بالتفاصيل.
- القدرة على التعامل مع الأرقام ومهارات كمية.
- فهم لمعايير المحاسبة والتقارير.
- سيتم النظر في الخريجين الجدد أيضًا.
