MWD Engineer
About the job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MWD Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in measurement while drilling (MWD) technology, directional drilling, and well logging. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and safety of downhole operations, and it requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise.
Your Tasks:
- Plan and execute MWD operations to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Monitor and evaluate downhole data to make real-time decisions.
- Collaborate with directional drillers and other team members to achieve drilling objectives.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MWD equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Prepare detailed reports on MWD operations and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Your Profile:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with 10 years of experience in MWD operations, both offshore and onshore.
- Proficiency in TC-Sonic-RSS and other relevant MWD technologies.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety protocols.
- The MWD Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of downhole operations.
- This includes monitoring all downhole activities to ensure they are conducted in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
Our Offer:
- Salary: Basic Day Rate in KWD with Accommodation & Transportation
- Work Schedule: Rotation: 60 days ON / 30 days OFF, 12 hours a day & 7 days a week
- Duration: 1 year renewable
- Location: Kuwait
