Air Freight Supervisor

About The Job

• Manage day to day operations of the Air freight export department.
• Work with Operations head to establish long- and short-term business plans, objectives, and goals for the department.
• Manage profitability and growth of department. Review and reconcile all management and financial reports for department.
• Negotiations with carriers to ensure best possible buy rates.
• Provide proactive customer service for all clients handled by department.
• Ensures continuous improvement processes to increase efficiencies, reduce waste and improve performance to our customers.
• Effectively manage any issues that arise within scope of responsibility. Lead resolution of difficult issues through effective skills.

• Ensure complete customs compliance as per customs regulations.
• Achieve and exceed all department KPI’s.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
• Set, appraise, and measure individual performance and productivity. Manage staff development of department through training.
• Manages the leave plan for all staff members and ensures smooth operations.

About You

Secondary: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline

Experience

• Minimum 5-6 years of working experience in a similar role in Freight forwarding companies preferably in Kuwait.
• Expected to be commercially sound and support sales in acquiring business.
• Experience in CW1 and handling air consolidations is desirable.

مشرف الشحن الجوي

حول الوظيفة

• إدارة العمليات اليومية لقسم تصدير الشحن الجوي.
• العمل مع رئيس العمليات لوضع خطط الأعمال والأهداف طويلة وقصيرة المدى للقسم.
• إدارة ربحية القسم ونموه. مراجعة ومطابقة جميع التقارير الإدارية والمالية للقسم.
• المفاوضات مع شركات النقل لضمان أفضل أسعار الشراء الممكنة.
• توفير خدمة عملاء استباقية لجميع العملاء الذين يتعامل معهم القسم.
• ضمان عمليات التحسين المستمر لزيادة الكفاءة وتقليل النفايات وتحسين الأداء لعملائنا.
• إدارة أي مشاكل تنشأ ضمن نطاق مسؤولياته بفعالية. قيادة حل المشكلات الصعبة من خلال مهارات فعّالة.

• ضمان الامتثال الكامل للجمارك وفقًا للوائح الجمركية.

ثانوية: 

• درجة البكالوريوس في الخدمات اللوجستية أو سلسلة التوريد أو تخصص مماثل

خبرة

• - خبرة عمل لا تقل عن 5-6 سنوات في دور مماثل في شركات الشحن ويفضل أن تكون في الكويت.
• من المتوقع أن يكون سليمًا تجاريًا ويدعم المبيعات في اكتساب الأعمال.
• من المرغوب فيه أن تكون لديك خبرة في CW1 والتعامل مع توحيد الهواء.
