Material Engineer – Construction Projects

Role: Manage and monitor quality of construction materials, ensure compliance with project specifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect and approve construction materials delivered to site

• Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards

• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for material approvals

• Conduct and review material tests from laboratories

• Monitor proper storage and handling of materials on site

• Maintain records of material approvals and test reports

• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams on material requirements

• Ensure only approved materials are used in construction works

• Identify and report any material quality issues

• Prepare basic reports on material quality and compliance

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field

• 5–10 years of experience in construction, preferably villa or residential projects

• Knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality control

• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills

• Familiarity with local construction standards and safety regulations

• PAHW Approval of Kuwait Ministry

الوصف الوظيفي:

البحث عن مهندس مواد لإدارة ومراقبة جودة مواد البناء المستخدمة في المشاريع وضمان الالتزام بمواصفات المشروع.

المهام والمسؤوليات:

• فحص واعتماد مواد البناء المستلمة في الموقع

• التأكد من مطابقة المواد لمواصفات المشروع ومعايير الجودة

• التنسيق مع الموردين والمشتريات لاعتماد المواد

• إجراء ومراجعة اختبارات المواد من المختبرات

• مراقبة التخزين والتعامل الصحيح مع المواد في الموقع

• الحفاظ على سجلات اعتماد المواد وتقارير الاختبارات

• التنسيق مع مهندسي الموقع وفرق المشروع بشأن متطلبات المواد

• التأكد من استخدام المواد المعتمدة فقط في أعمال البناء

• تحديد والإبلاغ عن أي مشكلات جودة للمواد

• إعداد تقارير أساسية عن جودة المواد والالتزام بالمواصفات

المؤهلات والمتطلبات:

• درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو هندسة المواد أو مجال ذي صلة

• خبرة 5–10 سنوات في البناء، ويفضل مشاريع فلل أو سكنية

• معرفة بمواد البناء وإجراءات الاختبارات ومراقبة الجودة

• مهارات تواصل وتنسيق وإعداد تقارير قوية

• إلمام بمعايير البناء المحلية ولوائح السلامة

• اعتماد PAHW من وزارة الكويت
