Position: Technician - Laboratory

Job Description:
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting routine testing and analysis to ensure the quality and safety of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods in a factory producing protein, commissary, and bakery items. The role involves sample collection, performing laboratory tests, maintaining accurate records, and supporting product quality through adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
Key Tasks:
- Sample Testing & Analysis:
- Perform chemical, physical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Record and report results, highlighting any deviations from specifications.
- Quality Assurance Support:
- Assist in developing and validating test methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor production processes for adherence to safety and quality parameters.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Conduct routine checks and arrange for servicing when necessary.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed logs of tests conducted, results obtained, and corrective actions taken.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all testing activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Educational Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in a food production or manufacturing setup.

المهام الرئيسية:
- اختبار العينات والتحليل:
- إجراء اختبارات كيميائية وبدنية وميكروبيولوجية على المواد الخام، والعينات أثناء التصنيع، والمنتجات النهائية لضمان الامتثال لمعايير الجودة.
- تسجيل وتقرير النتائج، مع تسليط الضوء على أي انحرافات عن المواصفات.
- دعم ضمان الجودة:
- المساعدة في تطوير والتحقق من طرق الاختبار وإجراءات التشغيل القياسية (SOPs).
- مراقبة عمليات الإنتاج لضمان الالتزام بمعايير السلامة والجودة.
- صيانة المعدات:
- ضبط وصيانة المعدات المخبرية لضمان الحصول على نتائج دقيقة وموثوقة.
- إجراء فحوصات روتينية وترتيب الصيانة عند الحاجة.
- التوثيق والتقارير:
- الحفاظ على سجلات مفصلة للاختبارات التي أجريت، والنتائج التي تم الحصول عليها، والإجراءات التصحيحية المتخذة.
- إعداد وتقديم تقارير الجودة اليومية والأسبوعية والشهرية.
- الامتثال والسلامة:
- ضمان امتثال جميع أنشطة الاختبار للوائح الصحة والسلامة والبيئة.
- الالتزام بممارسات المختبر الجيد (GLP) والحفاظ على مساحة عمل نظيفة ومنظمة.
المؤهلات التعليمية:
- دبلوم أو درجة بكاليوس في الكيمياء، أو الميكروبيولوجيا، أو علوم الغذاء، أو مجال ذي صلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في بيئة مختبر، ويفضل في إعداد إنتاج الغذاء أو التصنيع.
