Job Purpose:
The Lead Application Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, plugins, websites, internal platforms, SharePoint sites, mobile apps, and databases, particularly tailored to meet the needs of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This role requires staying updated with the latest technology trends, ensuring secure solutions, and providing training to ensure proper implementation of all software.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
- Analyze business requirements and develop software solutions accordingly.
- Design, develop, and maintain key components of the software suite using .NET, Python, and SharePoint Online.
- Implement SharePoint-based forms and workflows.
- Perform software design using development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy solutions.
- Support Autodesk BIM360, ACC, and other AEC information repositories.
- Support software solutions from Autodesk, Bentley, CSI, ESRI, and others, ensuring technical protocols and standards are applied.
- Provide support for EDMS and archiving platforms such as ACC Build, Aconex, PMWeb, and FileNet.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Regularly communicate with business units to gather requirements and explore new solutions.
- Actively participate in solution design reviews and contribute creative ideas in a collaborative environment.
Testing & Maintenance:
- Regularly test and maintain software products and deployments to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends to improve current software solutions.
Training and Development:
- Recommend improvements to existing software solutions as necessary.
- Participate in business requirements analysis and business process re-engineering.
- Train users and developers in system conversion and implementation.
- Create knowledge base articles and maintain technical standards documentation.
- Ensure that Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Continual Improvement are embedded in all work practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET, Python, SharePoint Online, and various AEC-related software.
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, debugging, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with EDMS, archiving platforms, and AEC-related tools such as Autodesk BIM360, Bentley, and Aconex.
- Ability to communicate clearly with business representatives and work in a collaborative environment.
- Experience in providing technical training and creating technical documentation.
Experience:
- Proven experience in software development, particularly in the AEC industry.
- Knowledge of SharePoint-based workflows and AEC-specific information repositories is required.

- تدريب المستخدمين والمطورين على تحويل الأنظمة وتنفيذها.
- إنشاء مقالات لقاعدة المعرفة والحفاظ على معايير التقنية.
- ضمان تضمين الصحة والسلامة والاستدامة والتحسين المستمر في جميع ممارسات العمل.
المؤهلات والمهارات:
- إتقان .NET وPython وSharePoint Online والبرامج المرتبطة بـ AEC.
- فهم قوي لأساسيات تطوير البرمجيات وتصحيح الأخطاء والاختبار والنشر.
