Required Skills and Expertise:

- Must be fluent in Arabic and English
CLRS-007 - Senior Registrar Diabetologist
Responsibilities
- Undertake patient consultations and physical examinations, assessment and plan treatment requirements through clinics at a minimum of 4-5 time per week including evening clinic.
- Conduct CPET and provide consultation for patients through weekly clinics
- Liaise with other doctors, healthcare professionals and non-medical staff to administer effective treatment of diabetes in the context of clinical care and research
- Write detailed patient reports and records; ensure accuracy and up to date status of records, medical reports, discharge summaries and all required
- Participate and lend expertise, advice in working groups/committees that contribute to the DDI mission, vision and values
CLRS - 010 - Specialist Pharmacist- Kuwaiti Nationals
Responsibilities
- Recruit and consent patients for research. Coordinate follow-up visits and any other research-related tasks. Recruit within DDI and at external venues.
- Oversee the Dasman Diabetes Resource Hub (DDRH) and monitor and follow-up calls and data entry on REDCAP.
- Develop policies and procedures for DDRH
- Expand pharmaceutical services provided to Dasman and the public through establishment of DDRH.
- Provide consultancy services regarding pharmacotherapy, drug, and diabetes education
- Conduct medication reconciliation for patients
DAFNE-010 - DAFNE Dietitian-Kuwaiti Nationals
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop and implement therapeutic diets, evaluate and report (document) results
- Confer with physicians and other health care providers in order to coordinate medical and nutritional needs of patients
- Counsel individuals, groups, family members and caretakers on nutritional practices designed to prevent disease and promote good health
- Assist in conducting nutritional education group sessions for patients
- Develop evidence – based nutrition educational material
