The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) has awarded AUK full accreditation for the College of Business and Economics.
The College of Arts & Sciences is accredited by the American Academy for Liberal Education (AALE).
Part-time Male Gym Instructor
Attention: (The selected candidate for this position must obtain the current employer's acceptance to issue a temporary work permit on AUK during the agreement period)
- Assist clients/customers in doing exercises using gym equipment.
- Give further instruction to clients regarding general physical exercise and how to maintain physical fitness.
- Promote and provide wellness advice concerning specific exercises.
- Offer general nutrition information.
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of gym equipment to help prevent accidents.
- Maintain cleanliness in the gym.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have a coaching license or have graduated with a bachelor's in physical education.
- First Aid and CPR Training and/or Certification.
- A graduate of any 2-year vocational course is also welcome but must have experience working as a gym instructor.
- Ideally, 1-3 years of experience working in a gym, fitness, or wellness center.
- Must be physically fit.
- Must possess a wide knowledge of Physical Education and Therapy.
- Must know different physical exercises as well as bodybuilding theory and technique.
- Must have knowledge in preparing effective exercises according to clients' requirements and physical/health status.
- Must have knowledge of nutrition and be able to give advice on proper diet.
- Must possess knowledge of human anatomy, particularly the muscular system.
- Must have experience and knowledge in using light and heavy gym equipment.
- Must be willing to do personal training.

- يُرحب أيضًا بخريجي أي دورة مهنية لمدة عامين ولكن يجب أن يكون لديهم خبرة في العمل كمدرب رياضي.
- يُفضل أن تكون لديه خبرة من 1-3 سنوات في العمل في صالة رياضية أو مركز لياقة بدنية أو صحي.
- يجب أن يكون في حالة بدنية جيدة.
- يجب أن يمتلك معرفة واسعة في التربية البدنية والعلاج.
- يجب أن يعرف التمارين البدنية المختلفة بالإضافة إلى نظرية وتقنية كمال الأجسام.
- يجب أن يكون لديه معرفة بإعداد تمارين فعالة وفقًا لمتطلبات العميل والحالة الصحية.
- يجب أن يكون لديه معرفة بالتغذية وأن يكون قادرًا على تقديم نصائح حول النظام الغذائي المناسب.
