As a Field Operator - Wireline, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the unit and performing all pre-job duties, well-site operations, and post-job duties, as well as training junior operators. You will be assigned a unit with all responsibilities to maintain it in the highest state of readiness.
- Maintaining records and communications as required by the District Manager. Responsible for proper job-related paperwork and other records for yourself and the assigned crew.
- Driving company vehicles in a safe manner, observing all company and government regulations, and arriving at well sites or other designated destinations on schedule.
- Actively participating in quality improvement efforts regarding ballistics operations.
- Promoting and maintaining good customer relations.
- Carrying out all required responsibilities safely as described in Managing Base Operations, Managing Well Operations, and Managing Equipment and Logistics manuals.
- Performing other related duties as required.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess expert knowledge of the oil and gas industry and product line, with excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in wireline operations.
- Have previous experience working with Baker Hughes tools.
- Have the ability to work well and communicate effectively with others.
- Have industry experience and product line training.
- Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with all federal, country, state, local, and WLE regulations applicable to explosives operations.
