Coring Field Service Engineer (Kuwaiti Nationals)

Job Summary

• Support coring operations at the wellsite. Operate basic coring systems unsupervised with coring supervisor on locations. Support basics wellsite Core handing and processing unsupervised.
• Additional advanced Wellsite Services & Customer / Drilling Contractor interaction
• Operate basic wireline and/or conventional coring systems unsupervised with coring supervisor on location
• Operate basic wellsite handling and processing unsupervised with coring supervisor on location
• Basic personnel management & engineering principles
• Attend morning meetings at rig-site, DWOP, pre-spud meetings and client meetings.
• Liaise with customer, drilling contractor personnel and office on job requirement and readiness.
• Able to complete required documents as per office requirements (Core Log, field reports, daily update, rig work permits, safety meetings, inspection reports / certificates / services tickets / teams paperwork (Driving - Journey Management Plan, Rig Safety Form – Pre-Planning, Rig Safety Form - Rig Operations, etc..) and any other required documents. Acquire any additional information/data required as per the request of office)

• Can perform basic interpretation of NOV software’s (TerraSCOPE log, VibraSCOPE (Critical RPM analysis / Torque and drag analysis), hydraulics, BHA configurations, Jar Placement)
• Can find and follow Repair & Maintenance workshop manual, to service coring tools.
• Ability to select different core head configurations and cutter shaped/size selection
• Ability to select different inner tube types based on application.
• Complete mandatory core competencies & electives in line with area requirements including HSEQ

Kuwaiti - Power Section Engineer (O&G, Downhole Tools)

Job Summary

• Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this role manages the full lifecycle of power sections for drilling tools, including inventory control, usage tracking, and documentation.
•  Responsibilities also involve advising on tool assembly, conducting inspections and performance tests, and coordinating rework and shipments in close collaboration with the logistics team and suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:

Rework Responsibilities:

• Get list of repairable parts from the service supervisor
• Contact and arrange shipping to suppliers (local and external)
• Create and follow up on POs for rework parts
• Provide any necessary technical information including drawings, procedures, standards to the supplier to enable performing the rework
• Power Sections Responsibilities:
• Manage the fleet of power sections for drilling motors, agitators and coil tubing tools
• Keep track of the inventory and status of all rotors and stators and maintain historical usage information.
• Maintain all documents related to power sections (MTC, reline COC, etc.).
• Advise which power section to assemble based on the fit calculation and required configuration given by application engineers.

• Take measurements of all power sections post job
• Perform the dyno tests for the assembled tools (Motors, Agitators and CT)
• Carry out the borescope inspection for the stators as per service manual and LSPs.
• Arrange shipping of the power sections to the reline / re-coat suppliers. Coordinate with the logistics team for import / export.
• Create and follow up on POs for stator relines and rotor re-coat.
• Complete all necessary documentation and data entry during service process.
• Maintain 5S / housekeeping of work area.
• Communicate to Management any issues with equipment, tools, inspections, and HSE concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Engineering degree in a related field is preferable.
• 2 years’ experience in a related role, considered an asset.
