Requirements

Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in fiber optic installation specifically within Kuwait.
Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Kuwait Ministry of Communications (MOC) regulations and refinery site requirements (KIPIC/PIP).
Visa Status: Must hold a Transferable Visa 18.
Technical Skills: Expert understanding of OTDR testing, fiber splicing, and civil ducting operations.

Responsibilities

Site Supervision: Coordinate fiber optic cable laying (underground, duct, aerial) and ensure work matches approved drawings and MOC/KIPIC standards.
Technical Oversight: Oversee trenching, manhole installation, fiber splicing, termination, and patch panel setup.
Testing & Quality: Ensure OTDR, power meter, and continuity testing are conducted accurately, including proper labeling and core documentation.
Coordination: Act as the primary link between main/sub-contractors and MOC representatives; attend site meetings and secure necessary work permits.↚
Safety & HSE: Enforce strict site safety standards, conduct daily toolbox talks, and ensure the use of proper PPE and safe cable handling.
Reporting: Prepare daily progress reports, track manpower productivity, maintain material records, and submit final as-built drawings and test reports.

متطلبات الوظيفة

المؤهل العلمي: دبلوم أو درجة جامعية في الهندسة الكهربائية، الإلكترونيات، أو هندسة الاتصالات.
الخبرة: خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في تركيبات الألياف البصرية داخل دولة الكويت حصراً.
المعرفة القطاعية: دراية تامة بلوائح وزارة المواصلات (MOC) ومتطلبات العمل في المواقع النفطية والمصافي.
حالة التأشيرة: يجب أن تكون الإقامة قابلة للتحويل (مادة 18).
المهارات الفنية: فهم عميق لاختبارات OTDR، لحام الألياف، وعمليات التمديد المدنية.

المسؤوليات

الإشراف الميداني: تنسيق أعمال تمديد كابلات الألياف البصرية (تحت الأرض، هوائي، مباني) وضمان مطابقتها للمخططات المعتمدة ومعايير الموع/KIPIC.
الإشراف الفني: الإشراف على أعمال الحفر، تمديد القنوات، تركيب المناهيل، لحام الألياف، وإنهاء الكابلات (Termination).
الاختبار والجودة: ضمان إجراء اختبارات OTDR وقياس القدرة بشكل صحيح، مع التأكد من الترقيم والتوثيق الدقيق للألياف.
التنسيق: العمل كحلقة وصل بين المقاولين وممثلي وزارة المواصلات، وحضور الاجتماعات الفنية وتأمين تصاريح العمل اللازمة.
السلامة والصحة المهنية: فرض معايير السلامة الصارمة، وإجراء المحادثات اليومية حول السلامة (Toolbox talks)، وضمان استخدام معدات الوقاية الشخصية.
التقارير: إعداد تقارير الإنجاز اليومية، تتبع إنتاجية العمالة، إدارة استهلاك المواد، وتقديم المخططات النهائية (As-built) وتقارير الاختبار.
