Position: Sous Chef for Tasting Event
Job Type: Temporary (Event-Based)
Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Chef or Sous Chef to prepare and execute gourmet tasting events. The ideal candidate will work closely with the event coordinator to design and deliver a menu that aligns with the event’s theme and objectives. This role is perfect for culinary professionals who are detail-oriented, creative, and thrive in high-energy environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the event team to create a custom tasting menu, highlighting various courses and flavors.
- Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation of all dishes, ensuring they are cooked to perfection, visually appealing, and served on time.
- Event Execution: Prepare and serve the sampling during the tasting event.
- Food Presentation: Ensure that each dish is presented in an appealing and creative manner, consistent with the event’s theme.
Qualifications:
- Valid Kuwaiti Food Authority Health Card.
- Ability to create innovative and custom menus tailored to the event’s theme and guest preferences.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience in hosting or preparing for tasting events.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate or flat event fee (to be discussed based on experience).

المؤهلات:
- بطاقة صحة سارية من الهيئة الكويتية للغذاء.
- القدرة على إنشاء قوائم مبتكرة ومخصصة تتناسب مع موضوع الحدث وتفضيلات الضيوف.
- القدرة على العمل في ساعات مرنة، بما في ذلك الأمسيات وعطلات نهاية الأسبوع.
- خبرة في استضافة أو التحضير لفعاليات التذوق.
