Physiotherapist
Objective:
To treat lymphedema conditions.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage various types of lymphedema (primary and secondary) in all stages.
- Manage primary lymphedema affecting upper and lower limbs, face, and genitalia.
- Provide care for patients with secondary lymphedema, such as cancer-related, phlebolymphedema, and post-surgical cases (e.g., plastic surgery lymphatic collection).
- Diagnose and manage lipedema pre- and post-operatively in its various stages and types.
- Provide care for complicated lipo-lymphedema cases.
- Treat patients with edema related to different etiologies.
- Apply lymphedema compression therapy for patients with chronic open wounds.
- Provide long-term care to ensure optimal quality of life for patients with primary and secondary lymphedema, as well as lipedema/lipo-lymphedema.
- Perform daily clinical duties, including applying short-stretch bandaging and manual lymphatic drainage.
- Assess and recommend appropriate compression products for patients.
- Be proficient in reading and interpreting vascular laboratory studies, such as ankle-brachial index (ABI/PVR) and vascular ultrasound, to facilitate proper lymphedema therapy.

الهدف:
علاج حالات الوذمة اللمفية.
الواجبات والمسؤوليات التفصيلية:
- تشخيص وإدارة الأنواع المختلفة من الوذمة اللمفية (الأولية والثانوية) في جميع مراحلها.
- إدارة الوذمة اللمفية الأولية التي تؤثر على الأطراف العلوية والسفلية والوجه والأعضاء التناسلية.
- تقديم الرعاية للمرضى الذين يعانون من الوذمة اللمفية الثانوية مثل تلك المرتبطة بالسرطان أو الوذمة اللمفية الوريدية وما بعد الجراحة (مثل الجراحة التجميلية).
- تشخيص وإدارة الوذمة الشحمية قبل الجراحة وبعدها في جميع مراحلها وأنواعها المختلفة.
- تقديم الرعاية لحالات الوذمة الشحمية المعقدة.
- علاج المرضى الذين يعانون من وذمة ناتجة عن أسباب مختلفة.
- تطبيق علاج الضغط للوذمة اللمفية للمرضى الذين يعانون من جروح مفتوحة مزمنة.
- تقديم الرعاية طويلة الأمد لضمان جودة حياة مثلى للمرضى الذين تم تشخيصهم بالوذمة اللمفية الأولية والثانوية وكذلك الوذمة الشحمية/اللمفية.
- القيام بواجبات يومية تشمل تقنيات الضمادات القصيرة الشد والتصريف اللمفاوي اليدوي.
- تقييم وتوصية المنتجات المناسبة للضغط للمرضى.
- يجب أن يكون الممارس متمكنًا من قراءة وتفسير دراسات المختبرات الوعائية مثل مؤشر الكاحل العضدي (ABI/PVR) والموجات فوق الصوتية الوعائية لتسهيل العلاج المناسب للوذمة اللمفية.
