Position: Big 4 Senior Audit Executive
Overview:
We are looking for hardworking and reliable Big 4 Senior Audit Accountants to join our ambitious Finance & Accounting dream team. Join our dynamic team in a hypermarket environment, where you’ll play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of audit quality. We seek a dedicated professional who embodies our commitment to objectivity, integrity, and ethical practices.
Knowledge:
- Identify Misstatements: Document and evaluate audit misstatements, assessing them individually and collectively against materiality thresholds.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate knowledge of the primary accounting framework (IFRS) and relevant auditing standards (ISA).
- Qualifications: MBA/Semi Qualified; CPA/CA/CMA.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
Capabilities:
- Operational Support: Assist in audit engagements by focusing on the preparation, execution, reporting, and evaluation of audit results to meet the needs of stakeholders and regulators.
- Conduct Audits: Execute audit procedures to gather sufficient, appropriate evidence, ensuring adherence to auditing standards.
- Debrief Participation: Engage in debrief sessions to capture lessons learned and enhance future audit quality and planning.
- Risk Management: Identify and document risks, issues, and conclusions while consulting with team members as needed.
- Escalate Concerns: Bring forward any risks or issues that exceed your expertise.
- Manage Audit Files: Oversee the entire audit file from setup to completion, ensuring timely reviews by engagement managers and partners, and following up on review schedules.
