PQ Service Sales Specialist
What You'll Do
As a PQ Service Sales Specialist, your primary role is to sell life cycle services for Eaton Power Quality solutions (specifically 1Phase & 3Phase UPS systems) to targeted customers. You will manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance in close coordination with authorized service providers, customers, end users, and area sales managers in UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar.
Your Main Duties
- Develop intelligence regarding Eaton’s existing installed base, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits. Review and interpret customer needs based on life cycle assessment of the captured installed base within the specified region.
- Achieve annual service revenue goals and provide accurate sales forecasting and customer relationship management data on revenue streams for the mapped installed base.
- Analyze and provide advice for customers’ existing equipment status and recommended replacement schedules.
- Communicate effectively with all external stakeholders, including maintenance/engineering/facility managers on-site.
- Provide support and guidance on the service offering portfolio (specifically 1Phase & 3Phase UPS systems) to authorized service providers within the country.
- Develop timely and accurate service quotations with the help of centralized resources.
- Understand competitor offerings and articulate Eaton’s competitive advantages for power upgrade & replacement scenarios. Schedule and conduct frequent face-to-face visits with customers across the assigned geography to educate them on the component life cycle aspects.
- Manage specific service contracts as the single point of contact interfacing with customer organizations, driving additional sales in those contracts (including 24x7), and providing service quotes as required.
- Identify and isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective actions. Provide customers with basic application information via phone or on-site consultation, utilizing the service provider network for 24-hour on-call duty and responding to emergencies with minimal notification.
- Maintain service logs and reports of work performed, either by yourself or the service provider network.
- Continuously improve personal, technical, and professional business skills to enhance customer satisfaction by keeping current with product technology, as measured by the ability to troubleshoot and repair various products and instruct others. Demonstrate safety consciousness in equipment handling, electrical and electronic procedures, and unique situations encountered at diverse work sites.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in servicing & sales of UPS systems and services for critical facilities, computer rooms, or control systems. Prior work experience with Eaton UPS systems is a significant advantage.
Skills
- Good understanding of single-phase and three-phase circuit theory; digital electronic circuit theory; and microprocessor controls and programming concerning UPS systems. Experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing.
- Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong computer skills; knowledge of electrical distribution and control systems is highly desirable; experience in UPS services is a must.
- Experience in power quality measurements, troubleshooting, and analysis is highly desirable.
- Experience in planning, managing site work, and coordinating small to medium projects for preventative maintenance and modernization.
- Basic understanding of network functionality and sealed and battery storage theory and application.
- Understand the need for safety and comply with company and customer safety rules.
- Must be self-motivated, with proven organizational and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize and balance workloads while leveraging support personnel to meet customer and organizational needs.
- Knowledge of key customers within sales territories.
- A driving license is mandatory for this position.

المؤهلات
