• Participates in assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient care needs.
• Undertakes work in accordance with the Hospital’s procedures and operating policies; works within agreed quality frameworks.
• Conducts complete skin examinations and delivers treatment for skin diseases; Pediatric dermatologic problems and Venereal diseases.
• Prescribes hormonal agents or topical treatments such as spironolactone, antiandrogens, oral corticosteroids, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and antibiotics.
• Provides dermabrasion or laser abrasion to treat atrophic scars, elevated scars, or other skin conditions.
• Provides therapies such as intralesional steroids and chemical peels to treat age spots, sun damage, rough skin, discolored skin, or oily skin.
• Assists in formulating plans & procedures for complex treatment procedures.
• Participates in organizational performance improvement activities.
• Recommends diagnostic tests based on patients' histories and physical examination findings.

Registrar - Radiology 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works under supervision of Consultants and Specialists working in the Department
• Prepares written documentation as required and ensures delivery of quality services in area of operations.
• Establishes and maintains communication within the Department and with other Hospital departments. Develops relationships with professional affiliations and others as is appropriate.
• Participates in new testing procedures and related protocol. Introduces and demonstrates new approved techniques, and usage of equipment, when required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzes patient's medical history, medication allergies, physical condition, and examination results to verify operation's necessity and to determine best procedure.
• Provides information to patients on medical condition and surgical risk.

Education

• Participates in the provision of orientation, in-service and continuing education programs, along with other Consultants of the Department
• Helps in professional development of all staff and provides teaching materials as part of the professional development of the staff.
• Attends accredited conferences and meetings to update personal level of clinical practice, teaching and management skills in line with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.

Consultant Clinical Hematology

• The Consultant Clinical Hematology plans, directs, administers, and supervises activities for patients with hematologic conditions. Responsibilities include the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of blood disorders and malignancies. 
• The Consultant ensures the delivery of patient care in accordance with Ministry of Health regulations, Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, and Hematology Department Policies & Guidelines.

Consultant - OB/GYN  

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Works primarily in an air conditioned, well-lighted and comfortable health care facility, while also exposed to infections and close contact with the patients.
• May have to work long hours and be available on call to deal with medical exigencies.

• يشارك بفعالية في مناوبة قسم رعاية المرضى والقبول. يستجيب لحالات الطوارئ لتقديم الرعاية الطبية والمشورة بشأن المشاكل المتعلقة بتخصصه.
• يقوم بتوثيق خطة إدارة المرضى ويحافظ على السجلات المناسبة لجميع المرضى مع استكمال السجلات الطبية للمرضى بشكل دقيق وفي الوقت المناسب.
• يقوم بتقييم القبول الجديد وينسق مع الاستشاري خطة التحقيق لإنشاء التشخيص ومسار الإدارة وينفذ الخطة التي وافق عليها الاستشاري.
• يشرح عملية غسيل الكلى وتشغيل جهاز غسيل الكلى للمريض قبل العلاج لتخفيف القلق.
• يحضر العيادات ويقيم المرضى ويضع قرارات العلاج ويطلب المشورة من الاستشاري حسب الاقتضاء.

• يعالج ويشخص الأمراض الخاصة بالأعضاء التناسلية الأنثوية
• يقوم بفحص المرضى وإجراء الاختبارات التشخيصية وتفسيرها للحصول على معلومات حول الحالة الطبية وتحديد التشخيص.
• تقديم المشورة للمرضى بشأن النظام الغذائي والنظافة والرعاية الصحية الوقائية.
• فحص المرضى وتحديد فحوصات الأشعة والفحوصات المخبرية السريرية حسب الحاجة.
• يكتشف وجود ولادات متعددة أو عيوب خلقية من خلال الموجات فوق الصوتية.
• يقوم بإجراء جولات منتظمة على الأجنحة بشكل مستقل ويساعد الأطباء المعالجين أثناء جولات الأجنحة.
• يساعد في العمليات الجراحية النسائية عند الحاجة.
• يُساعد ويرافق حالات الولادة الطبيعية أو القيصرية، ويضمن صحة الأم والطفل. أما في حالات الولادة، فيُشترط الحصول على موافقة مسبقة وإجرائها تحت إشراف الطبيب الاستشاري المُعالج.

• يصف العوامل الهرمونية أو العلاجات الموضعية مثل سبيرونولاكتون، ومضادات الأندروجين، والكورتيكوستيرويدات الفموية، والريتينويدات، وبنزويل بيروكسايد، والمضادات الحيوية.
• يوفر تقشير الجلد أو التقشير بالليزر لعلاج الندبات الضامرة أو الندبات المرتفعة أو غيرها من حالات الجلد.

• يُرسي ويحافظ على التواصل داخل القسم ومع أقسام المستشفى الأخرى. ويُطوّر علاقات مع الانتماءات المهنية وغيرها حسب الحاجة.
• يشارك في إجراءات الاختبار الجديدة والبروتوكولات ذات الصلة. يُقدّم ويُوضّح التقنيات الجديدة المعتمدة، وكيفية استخدام المعدات عند الحاجة.
• يقوم بتفسير الصور الشعاعية، وإجراء دراسات التباين وإعداد التقارير عن المرضى الذين خضعوا لإجراءات الأشعة.

• يقوم بإجراء مجموعة واسعة من الإجراءات التي تشمل الجراحة التجميلية والجراحية الترميمية؛ جراحة الوجه، جراحة الجسم، الإجراءات البسيطة وغير الجراحية.
• إجراء عمليات تجميلية مثل تكبير الذقن وعظام الخد وإجراء العمليات الجراحية في الفم والفكين لعلاج حالات مثل الشفة الأرنبية والحنك المشقوق ومشاكل نمو الفك.
• فحص وتشخيص المرضى لتحديد أي خلل وتحديد مسار العلاج المناسب.
• تثقيف المرضى حول المخاطر المرتبطة بالإجراء بالإضافة إلى تقديم التوصيات بشأن متطلبات ما بعد الجراحة
• يستخدم أحدث التقنيات والأساليب المتقدمة والتدريب والمهارات المتخصصة لمنح المرضى أفضل النتائج الممكنة من إجراءاتهم سعياً إلى رضاهم الشخصي.

• يقوم بإعداد ومراجعة السجلات الطبية والتاريخية، وفحص المرضى ووضع خطط العلاج وخيارات الإدارة الطبية

الواجبات والمسؤوليات

• تقديم الاستشارات للمرضى الداخليين والخارجيين.
• يتلقى الإحالات والاستشارات من التخصصات الأخرى.
• يقوم بتحليل التاريخ الطبي للمريض، وحساسية الأدوية، والحالة الجسدية، ونتائج الفحص للتأكد من ضرورة إجراء العملية وتحديد أفضل إجراء.
• يقدم معلومات للمرضى حول الحالة الطبية والمخاطر الجراحية.
• يقوم بحجز غرف العمليات وإخطار موظفي الدعم بموعد الجراحة للتأكد من استعداد جميع الموظفين المطلوبين للجراحة أو الإجراء
• يصف العلاجات والإجراءات قبل وبعد الجراحة، مثل المهدئات، والأنظمة الغذائية، والمضادات الحيوية، وتحضير/علاج منطقة الجراحة للمريض.
• يوجه وينسق أنشطة الممرضات والمساعدين والمتخصصين وغيرهم من الموظفين الطبيين
• يجري عمليات جراحية للمرضى لتصحيح التشوهات وإصلاح الإصابات والوقاية من الأمراض وعلاجها أو تحسين وظائف المرضى أو استعادتها؛ ويستخدم الامتيازات السريرية الممنوحة له لقبول المرضى وعلاجهم.
• يشارك جدول الاستدعاء في القسم حسب الحاجة ويضمن استمرارية الرعاية للمرضى أثناء الاستدعاء

استشاري أمراض السكري والغدد الصماء 

الواجبات والمسؤوليات

• تقديم الاستشارات للمرضى الداخليين والخارجيين لاضطرابات الأنظمة الغددية والهرمونية البشرية.
• يقوم بفحص المرضى بحثًا عن علامات وأعراض اختلال التوازن الهرموني أو الاضطرابات أو الأمراض مثل هشاشة العظام أو مرض السكري أو خلل الغدة الدرقية.
• يوصي أو يطلب إجراء اختبارات تشخيصية لفهم حالة المريض بشكل أفضل، ويفسر النتائج ويحدد التشخيص.
• يقوم بإعداد ومراجعة الحالات التاريخية والسجلات السريرية، وفحص المرضى والتخطيط لخيارات العلاج/الإدارة الطبية.
• يقوم بتقييم مستوى السكر في الدم والأنسولين داخل جسم المريض لتشخيص مرض السكري.
• يشرح الحالة للمريض، وبمجرد اكتشاف التشوهات/الأمراض، يصف العلاج ويقوم بالمتابعة.

استشارية الأمراض الجلدية

تعليم

• مواكبة التطورات المتعلقة بأفضل الممارسات في مجال الأمراض الجلدية.
• يتولى التدريب والإشراف فيما يتعلق باحتياجات التدريب المحددة للموظفين داخل الخدمة؛ مع مراعاة نتائج التدقيق واحتياجات التطوير المهني المستمر والتدريب المحددة.
• يشارك في تقديم برامج التوجيه والتعليم أثناء الخدمة والتعليم المستمر، إلى جانب مستشارين آخرين في القسم
• يساعد في التطوير المهني لجميع الموظفين ويوفر المواد التعليمية كجزء من التطوير المهني للموظفين.
• يحضر المؤتمرات والاجتماعات المعتمدة لتحديث المستوى الشخصي للممارسة السريرية ومهارات التدريس والإدارة بما يتماشى مع متطلبات التعليم الطبي المستمر (CME).

استشاري أمراض الدم السريرية

• يتولى استشاري أمراض الدم السريرية تخطيط وتوجيه وإدارة أنشطة المرضى المصابين بأمراض الدم والإشراف عليها. وتشمل مسؤولياته الوقاية من اضطرابات الدم والأورام الخبيثة وتشخيصها وعلاجها. 
• يضمن المستشار تقديم رعاية المرضى وفقًا للوائح وزارة الصحة ولوائح وأنظمة طاقم المستشفى الطبي وسياسات وإرشادات قسم أمراض الدم.

استشاري - أمراض النساء والتوليد  

ظروف العمل

• يعمل بشكل أساسي في منشأة رعاية صحية مكيفة وجيدة الإضاءة ومريحة، مع التعرض أيضًا للعدوى والاتصال الوثيق بالمرضى.
• قد يضطر إلى العمل لساعات طويلة ويكون متاحًا عند الحاجة للتعامل مع الحالات الطبية الطارئة.
• يتضمن أحيانًا الوقوف أو المشي لفترات طويلة، ورفع الإمدادات/المعدات.

استشاري أمراض الجهاز الهضمي

المهام التشغيلية

• يقدم استشارات للمرضى الداخليين والخارجيين الذين يعانون من مجموعة واسعة من الاضطرابات الهضمية والاضطرابات ذات الصلة
• يعمل بشكل وثيق مع أطباء الطب الباطني الآخرين، ويتلقى الإحالات والاستشارات بشأن مشاكل الجهاز الهضمي، ويراجع السجلات ويخطط لخيارات العلاج
• يقوم بطلب وتفسير الاختبارات وتحليل السجلات والتقارير ومعلومات الفحص لتشخيص حالة المرضى
• يستخدم الامتيازات لقبول المرضى وعلاجهم
• يقوم بإجراء الفحوصات والإجراءات مثل التنظير الداخلي وتنظير القولون وما إلى ذلك وفقًا للامتيازات السريرية الممنوحة له
