Lead Contracts Engineer I

Job Description

As the Lead Planning Engineer, you will proactively support the project by overseeing the planning process, managing the planning personnel, and ensuring that the project schedule is executed effectively. You will work closely with the Project Controls Manager and Planning Department Head to ensure maximum business benefits for the client through expert planning services.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the planning function during the design and/or construction stages of assigned projects.
• Manage the Planning Team to deliver comprehensive Planning/Scheduling services across the organization.
• Supervise and direct activities of Planning Focal Points and Planning Engineers.
• Collaborate with the clients UEV Cost & Planning to ensure continuous improvement in Planning processes.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and analyze contractors' reports for project management.
• Ensure shutdown plans are executed in a consistent and accurate manner.
• Work closely with various managers, including Engineering, Construction, and Operations Development, to ensure planning processes reflect work scopes and requirements.
• Schedule and ensure the accuracy of all HSE plan activities.
• Prepare status reports and forecasts for project management and client review.
• Supervise and develop other planning and support staff at field and home office locations.
• Maintain the baseline schedule and manage the baseline change control authorization process.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of post-graduation experience, with 5 years in oil and gas projects.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, and at least 5 years of hands-on planning experience.
• Proficiency in Planning Software, such as Primavera or MS Project.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Primavera or MS Project.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

• الإشراف على وظيفة التخطيط أثناء مراحل التصميم و/أو البناء للمشاريع المعينة.
• إدارة فريق التخطيط لتقديم خدمات تخطيط/جدولة شاملة عبر المنظمة.
• الإشراف وتوجيه أنشطة نقاط التركيز في التخطيط والمهندسين المعنيين بالتخطيط.
• التعاون مع قسم تكاليف العميل وتخطيطه لضمان التحسين المستمر لعمليات التخطيط.
• إعداد التقارير الأسبوعية/الشهرية وتحليل تقارير المقاولين لإدارة المشروع.
• ضمان تنفيذ خطط الإغلاق بطريقة دقيقة ومتسقة.
• العمل عن كثب مع مديري الأقسام المختلفة مثل الهندسة والبناء وتطوير العمليات لضمان تطابق عمليات التخطيط مع نطاقات العمل ومتطلباتهم.
• جدولة وضمان دقة جميع الأنشطة المتعلقة بخطة HSE.
• إعداد التقارير الدورية والتوقعات للمراجعة من قبل إدارة المشروع والعملاء.
• الإشراف وتطوير فريق التخطيط والدعم في مواقع المكتب الميداني أو الرئيسي.
• الحفاظ على الجدول الزمني الأساسي وإدارة عملية التحكم في تغييرات الجدول الزمني.

المتطلبات الأساسية

• بكالوريوس في الهندسة.
• ما لا يقل عن 5 سنوات من الخبرة بعد التخرج، مع 5 سنوات في مشاريع النفط والغاز.
• خبرة لا تقل عن 4 سنوات في نفس الدور، مع خبرة عملية لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في التخطيط.
• إتقان برامج التخطيط مثل Primavera أو MS Project.
• خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في استخدام Primavera أو MS Project.
