We are currently looking for a Principal Support Engineer to join our Support Services team in EMEA. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expert support for Postgres database solutions, especially Greenplum data warehousing and Kubernetes environments, working remotely with customers across multiple regions.

Details

As a Principal Support Engineer, your role will include:

• Leading technical support on Postgres and Greenplum solutions

• Managing multiple complex issues as Subject Matter Expert

• Designing troubleshooting strategies for cloud and container deployments

• Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams

Requirements

• 10+ years experience including 7+ years in Greenplum data warehouse solutions

• Deep knowledge of Greenplum parallel processing and big data frameworks

• Proficiency with Kubernetes architecture, YAML, Helm charts, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell and programming in C, C++, Java, or .NET

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP cloud services

• Knowledge of Red Hat Openshift; certifications preferred

• Strong communication, troubleshooting, leadership, and flexibility to work shifts/weekends

تشمل مهام مهندس الدعم الأول:

• قيادة الدعم الفني لحلول Postgres وGreenplum

• إدارة قضايا متعددة ومعقدة كخبير موضوع

• تصميم استراتيجيات لحل المشكلات في بيئات السحابة والحاويات

• توجيه المهندسين المبتدئين والتعاون عبر الفرق

الشروط

• خبرة 10 سنوات أو أكثر، منها 7 سنوات في حلول تخزين البيانات Greenplum

• معرفة عميقة بمعالجة Greenplum المتوازية وأطر البيانات الكبيرة

• إجادة هندسة Kubernetes، ملفات YAML، Helm Charts وأدوات المراقبة (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

• مهارات برمجة وسكربت (Python, Bash, PowerShell، C, C++, Java, .NET)

• خبرة في خدمات AWS, Azure, GCP السحابية

• معرفة بـ Red Hat Openshift؛ شهادات مفضلة

• مهارات تواصل، حل مشاكل، قيادة، والقدرة على العمل بنظام النوبات
