Cost Accountant – Food & Beverage Industry

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze food and beverage costs to ensure efficiency and profitability.

• Prepare detailed cost reports, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations.

• Develop and maintain systems for tracking expenses, waste, and inventory usage.

• Collaborate with purchasing and kitchen teams to optimize inventory levels and raw material usage.

• Conduct routine stock audits and reconcile inventory to identify discrepancies and prevent losses.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, budget controls, and industry best practices.

• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without affecting quality or operations.

• Support menu pricing strategies by analyzing cost structures and profit margins.

• Deliver financial insights to assist senior management in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in cost accounting or cost control, preferably in the F&B industry.

• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

المسؤوليات الوظيفية

• مراقبة وتحليل تكاليف المواد الغذائية والمشروبات لضمان الكفاءة والربحية.

• إعداد تقارير تفصيلية عن التكاليف، وتحديد الفروقات، وتقديم توصيات قابلة للتنفيذ.

• تطوير وصيانة أنظمة تتبع النفقات، والنفايات، واستخدام المخزون.

• التعاون مع فرق الشراء والمطبخ لتحسين مستويات المخزون واستخدام المواد الخام.

• إجراء تدقيقات دورية للمخزون وتسوية الفروقات لمنع الخسائر.

• ضمان الامتثال للسياسات الداخلية، وضوابط الميزانية، وأفضل الممارسات في الصناعة.

• تحديد وتنفيذ الفرص لتوفير التكاليف دون التأثير على الجودة أو العمليات.

• دعم استراتيجيات تسعير القوائم من خلال تحليل هيكل التكاليف وهوامش الربح.

• تقديم رؤى مالية لدعم إدارة الاستراتيجيات واتخاذ القرارات.

الشروط المطلوبة

• درجة البكالريوس في المحاسبة أو المالية أو إدارة الأعمال أو مجال ذي صلة.

• خبرة مثبتة في المحاسبة أو مراقبة التكاليف، ويفضل في صناعة المواد الغذائية والمشروبات.

• إتقان أدوات التحليل المالي والتقارير.

• معرفة جيدة بـ Microsoft Excel وبرامج المحاسبة (مثل SAP، Oracle، QuickBooks).

• مهارات تواصل ممتازة مع القدرة على العمل بفعالية عبر الأقسام.
