Lab Manager

Details

You will oversee the overall operation, safety, and quality of laboratory activities. This pivotal role demands expertise in managing daily lab operations, quality control, staff training, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory activities ensuring compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and regulations

• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; manage inventory and coordinate repairs

• Schedule lab activities and assign tasks efficiently

• Ensure accurate documentation and robust sample custody

• Manage laboratory budgets and expenses

• Implement and monitor quality management systems (ISO, GMP, GLP)

• Review and approve test reports and ensure corrective actions

• Develop and update SOPs and work instructions

• Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory staff; conduct evaluations

• Ensure safe, compliant, and collaborative work environment

• Develop and enforce lab safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance

• Prepare for and participate in audits

• Conduct or oversee laboratory tests, analyze data, and prepare reports

• Develop new testing methods and troubleshoot technical issues

• Communicate with clients and stakeholders; address inquiries and complaints

Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in chemistry and lab management

• صيانة ومعايرة معدات المختبر؛ إدارة المخزون وتنسيق الإصلاحات

• جدولة الأنشطة وتوزيع المهام بفعالية

• ضمان دقة التوثيق وسلسلة حفظ العينات

• إدارة ميزانيات المختبر والمصروفات

• تطبيق ومراقبة أنظمة إدارة الجودة (ISO، GMP، GLP)

• مراجعة واعتماد تقارير الاختبارات وضمان تنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية

• تطوير وتحديث إجراءات التشغيل الموحدة وتعليمات العمل

• الإشراف، تدريب، وتوجيه فريق المختبر؛ إجراء تقييمات الأداء
