Role Description
As a Senior PSM Consultant, you will implement and enhance Process Safety Management (PSM) systems and safety culture in oil and gas projects. You will be responsible for developing technical safety documentation, providing design support, and conducting advanced hazard analyses to ensure compliance with international standards.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain PSM systems and foster a strong safety culture
Develop technical safety project documentation such as TSE philosophies and AI-PS principles
Provide technical design support and troubleshooting for upstream oil & gas operations
Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment using HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, QRA, and other methodologies
Lead emergency preparedness planning and major hazard incident investigations
Communicate PSM awareness through tools like newsletters, presentations, and campaigns
Collaborate with regulators, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance
Define safety critical elements and performance standards
Support operational teams in mitigating process safety risks
Qualifications and Skills
B.Sc. in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, Petroleum, Electrical, Instrument Engineering or equivalent
10 to 20 years of experience in oil & gas operating companies
Expertise in technical safety project documentation and PSM principles
Proficient in risk assessment tools such as PHAST, CFD software
Strong knowledge of fire protection, hazardous area classification, leak path reduction, and safety design standards (API, BS, NFPA, etc.)
Skilled in facilitation of HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, QRA, FTA, FMEA, ETA
Excellent communication skills for liaising with regulators and project teams
Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams

تقديم الدعم الفني وحل المشكلات في عمليات النفط والغاز العليا

المؤهلات والمهارات
شهادة بكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية، الميتالورجية، الكيميائية، البترولية، الكهربائية أو هندسة الأجهزة أو ما يعادلها
خبرة من 10 إلى 20 سنة في شركات تشغيل النفط والغاز
خبرة عميقة في وثائق سلامة المشاريع ومبادئ PSM
إتقان أدوات تقييم المخاطر مثل PHAST وبرمجيات CFD
