PMS Project Manager
About the Job:
Note: Only apply if you have experience working in the Middle East, North America, or Europe and possess 25 years of Project Management experience.
Main Purpose of Role:
The PMS Project Manager is responsible for leading the Project Management Team (PMT) to support the client in managing the awarded EPC contract for upgrading the power station located within drivable distance of Kuwait City. This power station currently has facilities for power generation and water production and will include provisions for a future line to a neighboring power station.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the EPC Contractor to ensure project delivery within time, budget, and QHSE requirements.
- Ensure the correct application of design criteria, drawings, standards, conventions, and guidelines by the EPC Contractor.
- Coordinate progress reporting, performance, and resource allocation by the EPC Contractor.
- Organize pre-construction conferences, briefings, and presentations.
- Oversee and manage construction and commissioning activities.
- Verify the EPC Contractor’s monthly invoices.
- Ensure timely internal and external reporting.
- Maintain client satisfaction through successful project delivery, fostering long-term client relationships and repeat business opportunities.
Key Relationships:
- Internal Interface: The PMS Project Manager will report to the MEA PMC/PMS SL Director and regularly interact with Penspen’s internal support team.
- Client Interface: The PMS Project Manager will work with the Client’s Project Director and relevant personnel based at the power station.
Personal Competencies:
- High-level leadership skills to effectively motivate and influence others towards company, client, and project objectives.
- Strong creative, conceptual, and inductive reasoning abilities for effective problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills to express ideas confidently, clearly, fluently, concisely, and persuasively in spoken and written English.
- Ability to anticipate situations and proactively identify and resolve both obvious and hidden obstacles and opportunities.
Knowledge / Experience (Skills):
- At least 25 years of project management and engineering experience in FEED and EPC projects.
- Several years of PMC experience in a similar role is preferable.
- Proficient in all MS Office packages, particularly Word and Excel.
Qualifications:
- Educated to a minimum of an engineering degree; Project Management certification is preferable.

- إجادة جميع حزم Microsoft Office، خاصة Word و Excel.
المؤهلات:
- مؤهل بدرجة هندسية كحد أدنى؛ يُفضل شهادة إدارة المشاريع.
