FIELD.TOOLPUSHER III

Job Description

• The Toolpusher III provides overall direction and management of safe and economical drilling operations on the rig. 
• The Toolpusher may perform the duties of the OIM/PIC on designated rigs.

Responsibilities

• Drilling Operations Supervises and monitors drilling operations; makes judgment to proceed with, suspend or cease drilling operations if there is doubt about the safety or accuracy of the drilling program. 
• Ensures the drilling program complies with the Operator�s contractual requirements. 
• Verifies the preventative maintenance of all drilling equipment, including required documentation; oversees field-permitted repairs.
•  Monitors the installation and testing of casings and blowout prevention (BOP) equipment, as well as training in the safe use of BOP equipment.
•  Performs inspections and audits to check that the drilling equipment and facilities are maintained, monitors the efficiency of the drilling operation, and verifies that safe practices are followed; recommends and makes improvements and corrective actions where needed. 

• Oversees the safe transfer of materials and personnel to and from the rig. 
• Produces the daily operational report and daily pump report. Produces monthly inventory reports, monitors supplies for drilling and drilling equipment maintenance, and initiates purchase orders as needed. 
• Monitors and maintains drilling records, journals, logs, and reports. 
• Monitors general housekeeping of the rig floor. General Management Provides input to the annual plan and budget; monitors budget to ensure cost effective operations. 
• Provides required financial and operational reports and forecasts. Provides input and recommendations for the hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations of drill crew personnel
• . Ensures the roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, and performance measures of direct reports are defined, understood, and enforced. 

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or educational equivalent is preferred.
•  Professional Experience: Skills � Technical: Must have 5-7 years� experience as a Tool Pusher III. 
• Skills � Communication: Bi-lingual is preferred (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese) Verbal communication skills necessary. 
• Skills � People: Ability to interact with individuals in a cross-cultural environment.
•  Leadership and employee development skills. Team oriented. Licenses, Certifications, Credentials, and Other Requirements: Well Control Certificate of Competency at Supervisor�s Level is required.
•  Offshore Installation Manager Certificate is preferred. Offshore survival and medical certificates as mandated by government regulations are required. Certified in all required safety training programs, including but not limited to underwater safety, firefighting, and helicopter underwater escape. 
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.

المسمى الوظيفي

• يوفر Toolpusher III التوجيه الشامل وإدارة عمليات الحفر الآمنة والاقتصادية على المنصة. 
• يمكن لـ Toolpusher أن يؤدي واجبات OIM/PIC على منصات محددة.

المسؤوليات
